My mum has told me a story that has made me and my dad chuckle to ourselves.  According to the source of this story it happened about 2 weeks ago, but was only told to my mum a few days ago.  Here goes…  Our stef and Malc were out in the van on one Bin Cleaning route, and I think it was in Daybrook or something, and Our stef of all people decided that this youth looked a bit dodgy, with his hoody on and a scarf over his face.  Anyway our Stef claims that he was watching him in the wing mirror of the van, and saw him snatch some girls bag, so our stef being the hero that he is decided to give chase, along with our Malc, as this woman was quite upset due to her work takings being in the bag or something! Typically the 2 have a go heroes left the van with the keys and their own takings in. My mum was saying, “but what if there was a gang of them waiting or he had a knife” with out wanting to sound harsh… he’s been there before dont forget when he gave us all a nice scare 2 years ago!  I think the thing that made me chuckle most was the “He looked right dodgy mum, with his hoody on and that” when he dresses the same way

Why do I never get this sort of luck  Lucky bugger

A rubbish collector in central England could have a very good Christmas if he can solve one of the biggest jigsaw puzzles going — 10,000 pounds-worth of torn up bank notes.

Graham Hill found the large bundle of cut up 10- and 20-pound notes while emptying bins in Lincoln last May, according to the Lincolnshire Echo newspaper.

He handed the package to police, but after six months no one had claimed the notes and investigators could find no evidence that it was stolen or linked to criminal activity.

The Bank of England said it would exchange the notes for new ones if Hill could piece the money back together again.

“Providing the bank notes meet the evidence requirements, then an application for reimbursement should be successful,” a central bank spokeswoman said. “In particular we look at the two serial numbers on the front of the notes.”

Colleagues of Hill’s are hoping he gets to work quickly.

“I just hope he pieces enough of the notes back together to get a round of drinks in at the works Christmas do,” a co-worker was quoted as saying. “Christmas is only around the corner, so any bonus will be welcome.”

On his usual duty of surfing only random websites when he’s bored, Smash came up with this little beauty from HERE…  Wonder how much they are Hmmmmmm….

The vehicle looks like a garbage truck from outside, but it is in actually designed as a cross
between a mobile home and an off-road vehicle. It’s a TerraCross ‘Home on Wheels’
manufactured by UNICAT, which comes complete with an office, beds, bathroom, kitchen,
and storage space.

Yeah that time again  Not done a great deal, apart from possibly make something worse that it was   Anyway not done a great deal since Monday night, apart from play on COD World at War, which I have now finished on Regular mode! Time to go Veteran or online me thinks!!  Had an hour on it after work on Tuesday, before heading over to the gym to try out my shoulder.  slowly got into it, and it seemed to be fine for most exercises, but as it was the chest session, i steered clear of the bloody Pec Deck which was the cause of my shoulder/arm injury a good 2 weeks or so ago   Everything was on till I tried to do some Dips, and quickly called it a day after that! Got home and watched the rest of the Celtic game, and tucked into my Super XL Double Bacon Cheeseburger thing from Burger King   Wasn’t that shocked to find Celtic choke and end up out of europe before Christmas! Oh how the Rangers fans must be loving that

Ached like a fucker all day Wednesday, so decided against heading to the gym, and instead made it my goal to complete my game already   Kirsty has told me I’m a sad man before for wanting to play on this, so will no doubt get the same comment when she reads this HAHA!  Speaking of which had a bit of a chat with her yesterday, and she’s got the keys to her new house and everything, and is just awaiting her furniture arriving on Friday and she can get herself moved in there :)  Sure she’ll be very happy in her new home hehe!

Got a shock when I woke up Wednesday morning! Left my computer on over night, and had 5 minutes messing about on the internet looking at any notifications on facebook and that, and noticed that my blog wasn’t working! Seems like for the first time in the 2 years of blogging I’d exceeded my bandwidth limit! After a bit of a chat with Olly He’s doubled it to almost 20gb a month :? Fuck knows how I’ve managed to use that much!!!

In other news, Maddsy has now set up a group on facebook for the MM Hire business.  Already surprised with how many of just friends seem to have joined! I’ve been speaking to this lass who I met on Friendzii, and she’s told me about the Hospitality show at the NEC, which I’ve passed onto Maddsy and see if there is anything we can do regarding either sending them info, or sending Mark down for a day or two

So thats all for now! Stay classy readers  (Watched Anchorman AGAIN the other night! What a film)

A while back I bought this car with the idea of modding it slightly, but over time I’ve not had the money to do so, but have been looking at maybe getting some new Alloy Wheels as the White paint on mine is all fucked up.  Not even a full valet by Burge could help it.  There is not much I need to do regarding the Car Styling aspect of things.  It’s a nice and nippy car, if a little expensive petrol wise if you’re like me with a lead foot

Thats how I spent my lovely evening last night   Well in the reverse order that is! Got home from work, and got really really frustrated clearing out the last mortar pit on the “Burn them out level” I think it is, when you’re running round with a kick-ass Flame-thrower   Managed to fly through the next few levels, and currently turned it off, where I’m advancing through the Subway on Eviction!

Once it got to 10 I decided to sit and watch 24 Redemption.  Used to love watchin 24, and DID have a box set until a certain someone lent it either her mum or a friend, and it was never seen again   After watching it I’ve now decided to try and get the rest of the 24 series, and also looking forward to January when Day 7 starts :D  On the sleeping front, didn’t sleep to badly last night, altho I did have a dream I was being chased by some Japs in 1945 armed with a flamethrower, and all I had to defend myself was a Bayonet  I need to stop getting too into my games! God help me if I get Gears of War 2! HAHAHA

Friday was a long day if i’m honest.  I was already really tired, and the lack of sleep lately meant that Friday afternoon dragged like hell, as Maddsy decided to put half a day in, so there was only 3 or 4 of us left in the building by 5 when I decided I’d had enough, and buggered off home, quickly followed by Crit.  Got home and got ready to head over to Manor to play football with some of the lads.  I think I’m gonna give it a break for a week or two, as I seem to be carrying an injury, and one or two players seem to take it a bit too seriously, and I’m so tempted to go flying in for a few tackles, which will only end up hurting other players.  From football I went over to my mothers for a bit, as I normally head over on a Saturday or meet her in town for breakfast, and I also wanted to ask her bout the possibility of an early Christmas present   got home and chilled out for an hour or two before heading to bed.
