So this weekend I’ve not done a deal, but still ended up waking up on a Monday morning aching like hell, and VERY tired :(Â Friday was a laugh at football, and it was fucking freezing!! bought some kids gloves to wear, but they were a little too small, and have since gone to a good home! (Winty’s new missus to be exact)Â John turned up in an Alton Towers fucking Poncho (For reasons unknown to anyone but him and Day, and we had a laugh! I’ve sprained my little finger on my left hand, pulling of a “top draw save, straight from the top draw that one” (As Jamie Redknapp would have said) altho I did let in a stupid goal, when I tried to be a bit too clever :lol:Â Got home and carried on where I left off on my Football Manager 08 game! I’d got Stags to top of League 2, with me, John and Maddsy in the team as budding 16 year olds
The only problem with this game I find its that it’s so god damn addictive! Before you know it it’s almost 2am even tho you think you’ve only been on it for a short time
Got up bout 8ish and got ready to go and meet my mother in town for some breakfast and a walk round trying to find some stuff for our Owens birthday on Thursday, and I chose a rather swanky remote controlled Land Rover, which had the all important “Hot-Wheelz” badge on, as our Owen loves his Hot-Wheelz cars hehe! Went back to the coffeeshop with my mum and we met Sue, before I headed off home to chill out and watch some football, and waste some more of my life on FM 08  Watched the Everton vs Fulham game, then sat down on the internet and watched the Chelsea vs Sunderland game! Was awesome to watch the Scum get ripped apart by Chelsea (I wont often say that tho
) Before sitting infront of the telly again hoping for a Liverpool victory over the Spuds, and fuck me! Jamie Carragher goes and lets them get back in it, before Liverpool throw it away at the end! Gutted! Chilled out watching telly for a bit before heading to bed and getting ready for the big game on the Sunday morning!
Left my house a bit earlier than normal dressed in my new R&K tracksuit, which is not too good at keeping you warm
, and headed over to Maddsys to check out his decorating skills, and Kieran was running round shouting “Hello Wiggy” bless him. Got to football and most of the lads were looking nice and smart in their tracksuits and then the opposition turned up! A few of our players had history with Matthews & Tannert who are now playing under the Dev, with many of our lads having played for the team in previous years, and Bobby had only this last week transfered back to them. They’re a strong physical side, and for once I was dreading it, knowing that Zippy dont seem to give a fuck, and wether he can win the ball or not, goes flying in  My one hope was that was not the way the game was gonna go, and to be brutally honest, we seemed to out-think them! We tried to keep the ball moving and played some lovely stuff, and they rarely threatened to be fair. Their only chance of note in the first half was a scuffed shot from Ben, and Smithy went to clear it, fell over inthe mud, and headed it just off the line into Robs hands
That was Top, Top defending there from Smithy HAHA! 2nd half we always had a chance,w ith the slope and the wind slightly behind us, and we ended up winning 3-0 with some lovely worked goals.
Match Report
Congratulations to all players for getting our first ever back-to-back league wins.
Today was Derby day and i could sense the players were up for the game in the changing rooms beforehand, everyones head seemed to be focused and the desire to do well is there.
Fisher failed a late fitness test so Rob came straight back into the nets after missing last weeks game.
There was an even more familiar face on the opposistions team sheet today in Bobby, with the ink still wet on his transfer earlier in the week.
We started the game in great form and ripped the Devonshire Midfield/Defence apart straight from the kick-off but our final touch let us down, We were controlling the game without really testing the Devonshires keeper, Nick had a chance that stood out, firing over from 15 yards out.
In the last 15 minutes of the first half we just took our foot off the gas and was nearly made to pay for it, first a devonshire striker fired wide, then Smithy did his impression of a Circus seal, a Devonshire striker hit the ball towards goal in middle of a goalmouth scramble but Smithy came sliding on his chest to head off the line.
Half-time 0-0
At halftime it was mentioned that we were letting them back into the game and we need to start the second half how we did the first. I was not dissappointed. Apart from a lame shot scrambling wide from a devonshire player when hitting the target would of been easier, there was only one team in it, RandK.
A corner from Scotty was fumbled by the away goalie and Winty was on hand to break the deadlock.
Bud came on for Willa in a tactical change after Devonshire decided to go with 3 at the back.
We had 2 goals disallowed for offside, a Winty header which was quite rightly ruled out, but to rule out Buds long range effort when he received the ball before he skinned a player seemed strange.
It was only a matter of time before we added to our tally, and a brave Nick header found Scotty who made no mistake against his former club, Sami then threaded a brilliant ball to Scotty who finished superbly against the advancing goalie.
Nick picked up a booking for late challenging and Winty also got his name in the referees book for dissent.
Devonshire Arms will say they played poor today, but that is a credit to you guys, you did not let a very strong team settle on the ball today and we moved the ball around great at times, well done everyone.
MOM - Smithy, chosen by the Ref!!! Smithy had his usual awesome game, he won everything in the air and on the floor, not to forget his crazy goal-line clearance. Well done pal.

Straight from football I headed over to the grandparents house, and had lunch with them and my good old Aunty Barbara :DÂ It’s always great to catch up with the folks, and time seemed to fly and it wasn’t long before I noticed it was almost 4pm
How time flies when you’re chatting to your Aunty who’s telling you bout all the people who attempt to shoplift in B&Q and how she is being stalked by her neighbour! I never knew her son John was an armed guard till Sunday
But you can’t beat having a conversation bout going to the gym and the nutritional supplements like me and Barbara did! She was telling me her son is always at the gym and loves taking his Maximuscle nutrition bars and things, and we chatted about how Jaffa Cakes are seemingly good for us
got home and chilled out watching the Man City game, hoping Robinho would blast a hat-trick (not only for my Fantasy Football team, but if Bolton got a point, we’d be routed bottom before we play Aston Villa tonight) and my worst fears were confirmed within the last 10 minutes of the game, with Richard Dunne scoring another own goal, as Bolton won 2-0Â
Spent the rest of the evening chatting to a few folks on msn
Put on the last 20 laps of the Grand Prix, and notice Lewis Hamilton almost gifted Massa the title, until Timo Glock either ran out of fuel, grip or whatever, gifted Hamilton the point he needed to clinch the title in an emotional rollercoaster of a last race!

The instant change of emotion once the Massa party realised Hamilton got the position he needed
After that I was pissing myself at the latest Top Gear! Funny as fuck as per usual with the terrible 3-sum not giving too much thought into wether they’ll get into trouble over what they’re doing or not
Then on ITV saw the long awaited return of Sean Bean as Sharpe! I used to watch this religiously, and may see how much the complete box-set is
