Monte Carlo or Bust..
So it was pretty much a normal Thursday at work, apart from one or two people getting really excited about Mark receiving his banner (I think Zoe was far more excited than Maddsy
) anyway just to make things a little interesting i MAY have saved the UPS tracking page onto my computer, and edited it slightly! It was stuck in Nice having some government checks, which were outside UPS’s control, so I decided to update the tracking list with… “PKG RETURNED TO SENDER - GOV’T TERRORIST WARNING” Maddsy did seem to see the funny side of it tho. Altho I had Mark text me this morning, saying “Banner not arrived, sort it” As if I had some sort of influence in the French Government! “Ermm S’cuse me Monsieur Fillon, would you mind letting this parcel we’re sending to the director in Monte Carlo to be void of any goverment checks, cos he’s getting a little impatient and wants it for the race on Sunday” HAHA! Fool!! Should be there today anyway.
Last night went over to the gym bout 6ish and had a good session on the shoulders, and me and John were in admittance, that the arms and shoulders are looking good in proportion, we just need to get the chest pumped up a little more, and I’ll be looking great
Nipped to my mums on the way back, and nicked some food (good job she’d been shopping the day before) and then made my way back home to hopefully watch Celtic clinch their 3rd league title on the bounce! (only 2 other managers had managed that in their history) Was a great game, and they got the right result, with Rangers blowing what should have been a massive enough lead during March and April, but Celtic clawed them back with 7 straight wins, and dedicated their latest league triumph to Tommy Burns, who was a Celtic legend, who also had a spell in the Toon dug-out under Kenny Dalgleish. Chatted to Kirsty and Lucy on msn during the game, and then found myself in bed.
Bit of a bumper weekend sorted for this bank holiday weekend
Going to Lucy’s tonight for her “Finished Uni” party, Saturday morning I’ve gotta take our Stef over to Derby for his Passport interview, and then saturday afternoon I’m off to help Craig “Alan Titchmarsh” Maddox sort his garden or what ever the hell he wants me to do, then off to Si Overtons for a BBQ and catch up. Sunday I’m coming into work for a few hours to get loads of artwork done with Crit, and then down Mansfield with John and Orwin and who ever else is out! Then Monday I’m just chilling the hell out
Look out for this banner during the Grand Prix hanging from an appartment balcony
The present Maddsy sent Mark!!!
