So it’s been a bit of a fun weekend to be honest, altho sunday was not a good day
Anyhow… Left work thursday night and headed over to Johns to drop my car off, only to get a call once I was on my way, asking if I could pick him up from Caz’s House. Got there to find that we were gonna have to drive over to my house, to drop me off, and then John would drive it back
All in all a stressful enough task baring in mind it was mis-firing, and there was very little petrol in it hahaha! Once the posing sod had dropped me off I spent the rest of the night watching me some telly, and generally arsing about on the internet.
Got up for work Friday and looked out the window, and it dawned on me that I’d be walking to work
Not something I’ve done for a while I can tell you hahaha! For some reason it seemed to trigger off my hay-fever, and I then spent the first hour at work sneezing my head off (literally I can tell you) So I phoned Wendy and asked her if she didnt mine nipping into a shop to get some hay-fever tablets, and I’d give her the money when she got in. Not long after and the sneezing appeared to stop
typical that. Got a text saying car was ready for me to pick up, but no-one was able to give me a lift over to Kirkby, so I got John to drop it off at mine once he’d finished in the gym. Left work bout 5ish, and waited for him over at mine. Plan was drop him off then go straight to Manor to play footy, but I managed to nip home and get changed ready for footy, as traffic wasn’t as bad as I’d thought.
Footy was a laugh again, apart from when I went in net, and conceded 3 goals in about 2 minutes
Including the softest shot from Widdo EVER that kinda slipped through my hands as I dived OVER the ball. All in all tho it was a good work-out and I think I’ll keep running round like a head-less chicken to try and help get my fitness levels up over the summer
Got home and did nothing other than chill out watching telly with one or two protein shakes, cos footy had literally wiped me out. I felt soooo tired, and found myself in bed for just gone 10, and slept through till 7:45ish when my alarm woke me up!
Got to work bout 8, and got my Sausage and Egg order in with Carol, and set about getting as much artwork done as possible. In between having phone calls of my mum and Maddsy I managed to get quite a bit done. Funniest call was from my Mum. They were at the boarding gate to come back from Malaga, only to find people coming OFF the plane they were meant to be getting on!! Turned out that some of the flight staff were ill or something, so the flight had been cancelled. They managed to get back on a flight bout midnight Sat night, which landed bout 2:30am!! Left work bout 12:30ish and got a text off John asking if I fancied the gym, so went there from bout half 2 for an hour or so and we did a bit of exercises on shoulders, chest and back. From there I headed over to my mums for a nice cold shower.
Took my time to get ready, and then made the short walk into Mansfield to meet with all the football lads. They were all sat out the back of the Swan with a beer, and I met Wayniac and Bagi and we got a few drinks in. Soon started to get messy, and we lost Maddsy and most of the footy lads before we’d even left the Swan
They went over to The Red on the Square, and we decided to head to the Courthouse Spoons for a Jagermeister and Red Bull. After there we headed to Yates’s, Andwhynots to purchase a wrist band for the Late Lounge later that night, Marthas and Top Spoons, before heading over to The Late Lounge. Maddsy was lost and wandering round town aimlessly looking for folks, till he rung me and found out everyone was in The Late Lounge  Cant remember what time we left, but a few of us decided to head over to Liquid instead
Woke up sunday feeling rough as hell! Maddsy had rung me to check I was up (wanker) and I ran him back once i’d nipped to the shop for some lucozade and milk. The plan for the day was to chill the fuck out, and get rid of this bloody hangover. What better a way to do it, then watch the play-off game between Watford and Hull City, and then the climax of the Premier League season  Was amazed to see the scores come in, as Boro made their way to 8 past a shell-shocked Man City side, and unfortunately Newcastle seemed to run out of steam, and lost 3-1 against Everton :( Rang my mum back after about 10 missed calls, due to my phone being on silent and on charge in my bedroom, and they’re off to Spain again in a month or so, and my mum has asked if I fancy going this time round. Think I might just do that ![]()
