If the Bible has taught us nothing else, and it hasn’t, its that girls should stick to girl’s sports, such as hot oil wrestling foxy boxy and such and such…

So not blogged for a few days now, as not much interesting has been going on, atleast till this weekend anyway

Thursday there was no gym due to the fact that John played football, and managed to kill himself in the process *rollseyes* Sprains his ankle, then proceeds to spend about 11 hours at work hobbling round and things, thought he was meant to be clever, altho we’ve learnt that he needs to pay more attention to his spelling  So ended up chatting to a few folks on msn and via text.

Friday was a random day. Had this invite of “The Nature Boy” Lee Roberts on facebook for this wrestling application, and once me and malc had added it it’s become pretty much all we’ve done lately  How sad I know! Hell our conversations on msn between the 3 of us have become so riveting it’s untrue…

Wiggy: It’s your turn

Malc/Bobby: you

Wiggy: you

As you can see we’ve all got quite into it, and we’ve even managed to rope Maddsy into it!! I can see one or two nights like a few weeks ago, when we got hooked playing scrabble on there  He’d ring me to tell me it was his go, then 10 seconds later I’d return the compliment, and we’d have a game of scrabble done in about 10 minutes ha ha ha!! This has now gotten to a very addictive stage, and me and Malc have ended up having about 50 fights against each other, with Hornswiggle coming out on top ;) Friday night was spent watching Rocky 1-4 whilst chatting to Adi on facebook, and a few others on msn again. Having not much money does suck at times  Altho with this wrestling application and Malc and Bobby it helps keep me occupied! Along with messaging Adi :D

Woke up early saturday morning, and slowly made my way down to work. Carol decided that she was having a trip to the bacon cob van bout half 9ish, so put my order in for a sausage and egg, and then set about that days task, get as much artwork re-drawn and printed as possible!! This artwork was particularly bad, and so i kept taking a break, and chatted to malcy and bobby, whilst fighting them on wrestling on facebook  Left work bout 12ish and headed home for a bit. Had a nice relaxing bath, and then sorted my stuff out ready to head over to Newark. Nipped over to Tesco first to buy Emzi a present and card (and forgot the envelope  ) Nipped into see my mum and dad, and my dad managed to get his digi-box working again, and then I nipped into the shower and headed off over to Hayley’s house for Emzi’s little get together

Took a nice steady drive over to Newark, and got there pretty much when I said I would, bout 7ish, and text Em to see if she was there already, and Martin came to the door and waved, so I knew which house it was. Was great to see her again, and it’s a mixture of mine and her fault that we aint seen each other for exactly a year :( Took Martin out for a quick spin in the car, and then sat on the settee. Kinda felt out of place for the first hour, as all her mates were laughing in the kitchen, whilst I was sat in the living room with one or two others, and there was a steady stream of people arriving throughout the night. After about an hour Em and some others came and sat in the living room with us, and Em decided to put some dance music on. By this time she’d necked half a bottle of Apple Sourz similar if not the same as the picture below. Thus Emma was quite merry when she came and sat down with me and Martins brother, who for some reason is always putting her down  Had a bit of a catch up chat with her, and she was looking very well indeed, the running seems to be working then em ;) and then John text me saying that their gig would be finished bout 10:15 if I could make it to notts in that time. Gave Em a birthday hug, and told her not to get too drunk, as she’d finished that bottle of apple shots on her own, and had started on the Raspberry Absolut Vodka I’d bought her @ 40% Proper knock your block off stuff if you’re necking it!!

The evil drink… Em BEFORE she got too drunk

Emma a little drunk just after I’d left… Sat on the floor chilling later in the night

Took me just over half an hour to get there, and Sat Nav decided to take me a random way once I got into Notts, but eventually pulled up outside Jumping Jacks, and spotted John, Orwin and Michelle trundling towards me. Owrin seemed to be on one, and in one of his usual random moods, and all the way into Mansfield, he was on about wanting to “Grind tonight” and that some poor lass would have 9 months of hell as a result of tonight  Orwin is a legend it goes without saying. John was being DJ in the car, and busting some shapes out, and Orwin and Michelle were chuckling to themselves, as they’d decided John looked like the Churchill dog, nodding his head to the music  He WAS NOT HAPPY WITH THAT  Specially when Orwin decided to rip into his EGO  Dropped them off in the Liquid car-park, and made my way home, as I was shattered as hell! Made a tenner from the night tho

Woke up sunday morning and got my football stuff ready, sent a message on facebook, and then headed over to McDonalds then over to Maddsys. Left my car at his, and we went to football in the truck. Bobby brought his missus to football, and she was armed with the camera ready for some action shots  For reasons unknown to me I started on the bench along side Winty, and Malc was out of position on the wing again. Started the game playingsome nice football, but once again noce we took the lead we couldnt hold on till half time, or even build on the goal with another whilst we were on top. That came back to haunt us, as Maddsy thought it’d be funny to give a penalty away the retard!! We struggled to come back from that and 2nd half we were crap! I should have hit the target with a left-foot volley, but tried to control it *rollseyes* Should have done better I know. Ended up losing the game 3-1. Went back to the pub for a drink, and ended up missing the kick-off of the Newcastle vs Village of the Damned game, thus missing Michael Owen score after only 3 minutes. Left the pub not long after tho, and made my way to my mum and dads. Luckily only missed the opening half an hour. From what I saw we were well worth the win WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

Maddsy going on a ermmm jog… the lean mean fighting machine Bobby…

Me making running the line look good!! … And in the thick of the action :?

Table of Shame….

  1. Wiggy - 2 Penalties
  2. Maddsy - 2 Penalties
  3. Greg - 1 Penalty
  4. Lee Berry - 1 Penalty

Blue Bell Match Report…

his was definatly a game of two halves.

Daly kept his place at right-back after impressing the week before and Scotty got the nod upfront in place of Winty.

We started the game really well and at times our quick passing was outstanding, we knew when to do the short pass and when to do the big boot and also when to have a run at them.

We went ahead on the 23rd minute mark, Scotty ran onto a Brad long-ball and finished well.

We continued to boss the first half and even got the opposition arguing with each other. The chances kept falling our way but we didnt add to our tally.

Disaster struck just before half-time when Maddsy brought down their striker and MandT despatched the penalty well.

Half-time 1 -1.

During halftime and injured Greg came off and Wiggy came on. The management said at halftime that we need to carry on where we left off, but this was not to happen.

We were terrible in the second half and it remindered me of our games early in the season when we struggled to compete.

There was no quick passing like there was in the 1st half, no communication and no shape!

MandT took full advantage of this and scored 2 goals in the second half. We have to start finishing out chances off when they fall our way and we also have to concentrate for the full 90 mins. If we do that next season along with a couple of extra players we will have a good season, if we dont we will be a the same situation.

The only reason why the ratings are as high as they are is because of your first half performance.

Man of the Match - Scotty, a great finish to score against his old club and a good battling display. MOM chosen by Col.

Goal summary:

23 min - Scott Hart (7/10)
Steven Bradshaw punted the ball out of defence like normal and Scott Hart found the net from just inside the box with a well-finished right footed effort

True Faith’s take on the Toon vs Our poorer North East neighbours game

Match Report

How easy was that than eh? I think most expected us to win but this was the most one-sided derby in many a year. Surprisingly for a derby game, no-one in the pubs beforehand seemed nervous at all, the only check on optimism being a fear of jinxing the whole thing by predicting wild results. The town was buzzing from early in the day and on getting into the stadium, the big bloke on the pitch belting out ‘Blaydon Races’ was a masterstroke as it had SJP bouncing and the noisiest it had been in absolutely ages. We were straight into them from the k.o. and three minutes in we were ahead - cue bedlam in the stands. I’ll get to Geremi in a bit but he put over a decent ball, which Owen rose to plant home with a phenomenal header. He must have scored more goals with his head than his feet this season and this was a cracker. For the next ten minutes, the Mackems looked terrified - the ground was rocking and if we had have scored in that period, I genuinely think we could have gone on to give them a proper scudding. McShane in particular looked so far out of his depth it was almost embarrassing and a ‘proper’ winger would have completely butchered him. He even scored what looked like a perfectly legitimate own goal with a header almost as good as Owen’s but had it chalked off for something or other - still, nice try.

As it was, they managed to calm things down and most of the rest of the half was quite scrappy, but we were always the better side as the Mackems huffed and puffed and tried to utilise their sole tactic - howking the ball up to Kenwyne. Nice one. Then, with a minute or so to half time we won a penalty. Owen exchanged passes with Viduka and then against the hand of Higginbotham. Touch and go decision - it was definitely handball but maybe not deliberate. Still, fuck it, this is the Mackems we’re on about here and to add to the hilarity, Owen’s penno was awful yet still squirmed under Gordon’s body to make it two nil right on the stroke of half time.

The second half was fairly nondescript and if anything looked to be damage limitation for the Mackems. They were clueless coming forward and any threat they might have had was totally cancelled out by Butt, who was absolutely superb and controlled everything in the middle. Of the other two midfielders - Barton’s passing was excellent and he had another good game and fulfilling the promise to get back to Geremi - well, where do you start? His set-piece distribution was utter gash throughout as was his passing in general. And he can’t run. But despite all that, he has a canny knack of creating goals. You can of course attribute this to the law of averages as the bloke must have twenty opportunities a game to get the ball in the box but like him or not, he has made a big contribution to our revival.

As far as chances went in the second half, Oba had our best after being put through by Owen, but this time Britain’s most expensive keeper (aye, I knaa), saved with his body and at the other end, Kenwyne finally got a header in which Harper saved well but the game by this point had turned scrappy. The last ten minutes or so were great - Chopra got a deservedly hostile reception on his homecoming as treachery was not forgiven on the grounds of never actually being good enough to play for us and the crowd enjoyed taunting the mute Mackems as we cruised to an oh so easy victory. Keegan reckoned the game wasn’t a classic but we actually performed very, very well. At the back, the two full backs were again exceptional as were Taylor and Faye and let’s not forget, this is the third clean sheet on the bounce. In the middle, Butt was just fantastic and up front, Owen scored twice and looked classy when dropping deep.

The Mackems will stop up, just, but if that’s as good as it gets for £50m, Evans or no Evans then they are struggling next season. Still, they’re not our worry - for now it’s time to enjoy yet another derby win and continue to finish the season strongly. Happy days!

Keep the Faith

Gareth Harrison

Man of the Match - Butt - again.

Ref - Mike Dean - 8 - Another very good refereeing performance, Kept a handle on them when they started running around kicking people in the second half.

Their Fans - 2 - Absolutely pathetic. Barely raised a murmur throughout, possibly saving it for later when they were allegedly very noisy in a Police escort.

Got home after the game, and had a nice hot bath after chatting to Miss Dickie and Malc on msn for a bit, and then spent the rest of the evening watching random stuff on telly  before putting Swordfish on, and watching it in bed till I fell asleep  Had a bit of a play on this website to see how much my w1ggy.co.uk domain is worth  It’s worked out on traffic and other things, and is worth a grand total of $764 HA HA HA!!! Me and Maddsy decided to have a little look at other domains and were quite surprised  Oh and Bobby if you’re reaing this…. It’s you HAHAHA
