Hmmm so I think i have a new addiction
No I will not be joining Pete Doherty or Amy Winehouse in going into recovery for drug addictions… Nor will I be joining Bagi in being addicted to Beer or his latest addiction which is killing himself on a sunday morning playing football
(The hypercondirac that he is HAHA) My new addiction seems to be online gaming
Not helped by one or two other mates who appear to have a similiar addiction *cough* Tibbzy, Lee Westwood, G and D *cough* Not sure why I didnt start playing online sooner, altho there are times when you do wonder about the mentality of some of the people who play online! Mainly the Americans, who seem to take it Oh so seriously. Played one game this weekend, and cos I was one of the weakest ranked players, I got a message of one such american, who told me to get off the server, and they were talking over the headset telling me to fuck off and that! God knows how I ended up on their team, when I was in the same party as Tibbzy and G, so normally would be put on the same team
It is a great way to chat to your mates, and have a laugh and things
… Plus chatting to Nic, she said she now knows where he is 99% of the time when they aint together… either cleaning his car, or on xbox live HAHAHA
So Friday night was spent as above, after playing footy with some of the maxxd lads, which involved Phil getting a little heated with one or two tackles on Bold
Roll on next sunday when we’ve got them in the league
Afterwards Teddy mentioned he was on about starting the sunday football up again, on the full-size pitch which should be good, and Bold moaned that he plays on sunday mornings to which the bitch inside me shouted, “Ermm you sit on the bench you mean Bold” HAHA. I rejoined the party with Tibbzy and G later that night and we played a few more games, and then D was kind enough to lend us his presence, in our quest for more wins! Tibbzy was at work saturday morning, so playing till about 3am was a bit of a bad idea we’re thinking
Got up lateish Saturday morning, and decided to go over to my mums to watch the Newcastle game, and so rang her to see if she was at the coffee-shop, and so got her to get me a coffee in whilst I drove over. Our Owen was there, and as soon as I walked in he seemed to be running around and getting all excitable
Ended up sat on the floor playing with his hot wheels cars that he’d took down to play with. My mum shouted at him for squealing, and he came up to me and started to cry, so he sat on my knee and gave me a cuddle, whilst saying “Mama naughty” First time he’d actually come and cuddled me like that, so made me feel honoured
Gave our Hev a lift home, and then headed over to my mums to watch the Toon game. Was a great start, and I managed to get our Owen cheering in the 5th Minute when Michael Owen headed home the opener. First half we were quite good, and would have won the game had we managed to get a second, but as it was I dont think we had another shot on target till near the end of the game, when we were 4-1 down
Ended up chasing our Owen round my mum and dads for a bit, specially when he was trying to find mama, who had gone to have her hair-cut and left me and our Hev in charge
Not long after the Newcastle game finished I decided to head back home, so I could have a few more hours on Call of Duty, and try and out-score Lee Westwood on the leaderboard, as I’ve got no chance of catching Tibbzy or any of the others on there
As I was leaving my mum thought it’d be a good idea to ask Owen if he wanted to go to Mikeys!!
He seemed awfully sad when I was leaving, and wanted to come with me bless him
Chilled out for the rest of the saturday afternoon watching Soccer Saturday and seeing the scores come in, before watching Any Given Sunday
Lee and Nic came round to show me her new car, and borrow a DVD for their saturday night entertainment. So had a bit of a chat about things, and as I was mid-game, I finished it off, and me and Lee got chatting, and he was rumbled by Nic for spending so much time on the Xbox HAHA. After that I decided to watch the latest episode of LOST, and as Lee Westwood found out last night, there are still some twists in the plot, and some more questions raised in my eyes, but I think piece by piece the whole plot is coming together quite nicely!
Before having a few online games, before heading to bed to watch Match of the Day.
Had a text of Bagi bout 9.30 sunday morning, saying… “WAKE UP WIGGY” so I replied syaing any more and I’m going to the police hehe! 5 minutes before my bloody alarm went off too! Damn you Mark Baguely, Damn you straight to the depths of HELL!! Got to football early enough, and saw Teddy who’d just signed for Sherwood Rangers. I remember playing them many years ago and had some good battles with them when the Potters were in their infancy (as Titchfield FC Back in the day) In the changing room, there finally seemed to be some banter, altho it focused on me and Bagi and our gay tendencies on the website
Anything for a laugh I suppose
The game was by far our best apart from the game against Lawson when we won 9-8 or something stupid like that
There was alot more talking (mainly from me) and I got to bollock Bradshaw a few times too for not helping back or anything… BONUS!!
Ratings from the game:
- Bagi - 8 - Some good saves, even tho his leg was about to drop off, and saved an almost certain own goal from me
- Wiggy - 8 - Solid and dependable anywhere along the back 4. Another good game from Wiggy.
- Nic - 8 - Poor first touch, but did the business in his first game at Centre-back
- Rob - 8 - Good talking and some timely interceptions.
- Maddsy - 5 - Poor communication, too slow at coming out, and was normally the last man. Spent too long chatting to his new mate on the sidelines to have any real effect on the game!
- Bez - 5 - Poor game from Lee Berry! Come to expect more from this winger
- Brad - 5 - Old Penguin feet never really got going. Worked hard up and down the wing, but his tricks rarely came off
- Sami - 9 - Ran his little socks off bless him. Bossed the midfield for a god period of the game, altho appeared to tire towards the end.
- Bobby - 8 - Another tiresome performance from “Bobby on the beat” Not afraid to put his foot in, but takes longer to turn on the ball than a submarine takes to turn full circle
- Moorey - 8.5 - Ran his socks off, and won his share of headers against a taller defender. Took his goal brilliantly. Good game, altho DONT wear a vest next week
- Malc - Trickery had defenders worried at times, and played a fantastic through-ball that led to Mooreys goal. Worked hard, but didnt really get the reward.
- Subs - Came on too late in influence anything
Thats my fair reflection
Maddsys new mate below, who took more of an interest in him as time went on

Went to my mum and dads for my dinner after football, and watched the Manchester derby. Was good to see the minutes silence observed with the respect it deserved, apart from idiots letting off fireworks outside the ground *rollseyes* Was a great game if you aint a Manchester United fan, and afterwards the excuses about international week taking its toll on the players! What about the stupid trip to Saudi Arabia only a week or so ago! Surely that can’t have helped, altho it has helped the swell the clubs coffers. Watched the end of the England Rugby game. Jesus they were dire second half, and luckily got enough points in the first half and just managed to scrape through against the Italians! God help us against the French and Irish  The first half of the Chelsea Liverpool game was a bit of a blur, as I was falling asleep, so I headed off at half time to have a bath and relax. Spent the evening chatting to a few people on msn, and by text message, whilst watching one or two films on Sky Movies Premier
YAY! This week I’m only at work for 4 days, and it’s gonna feel a bit odd on having a day off in the middle of the week ![]()
