So since my last update there has been a bit going off here and there
Not been to the gym or anything, cos to be honest I think I over did it a tad when on the treadmill the other day, and I’ve felt really really tired since! Even when I went to bed bout 10ish, I found myself awake at 6am, and unable to get back to sleep
Anyway Friday I nipped out and about, delivered some cards and letters, and got myself a new digital camera ready for the Christmas Night out with work, and also any future nights out I should find myself on. Once I’d dropped Owens present off at my mums for her to wrap, I got home, and chilled out for a bit watching a film or two, before getting ready to go and meet everyone from work up at the Foxglove pub opposite ASDA. After a few beers in there, we headed off to Notts with everyone in tow. Got dropped off outside Via Fossa and cos we were early we headed in there for a few beers. Even then Alison was getting on peoples nerves. After a few bottles in there, we headed just round the corner to the pub thats below Jongleuers (Cant remember the name) and when we walked in, me and Lee noticed they were doing Jager Bombs for 1.65
this being just gone 6 in the evening, me, Lee, Maddsy and Pigeon Legs thought it would be a great idea to neck 4 each in about 10 minutes. We were then allowed upstairs, and made our way to the reserved tables for our dinner. The whole night was amazing, apart from Alisons heckling of one of the comics. On a whole I thought they were all great, and then once they’d tidied the tables away, a few of us danced for the rest of the night! God my calves hurt like hell the following morning
Pictures can be found HERE But I’ll stick a few good ones here.
Woke up saturday dinner, feeling not too bad, altho I was supposed to have been up at 5:30 to go and help our Malc, I decided as I got in at gone 3 there was no chance I was even gonna think about jumping in my car, so turned my phone off, and slept till midday. Spent all that day chilling out watching various football games on the telly. And then went over to the Rushley for a few drinks to celebrate Fee’s birthday. Was nice to see some of the people out, and confirmed to Phil I’ll be over his and Helens gaff for New Years Eve.
Sunday was pretty much the same, altho I went over to my mum and dads for dinner, and my uncle Mick came over before the Newcastle vs Derby game, and had a nice chat with him. Not seen him for ages, so was nice to have one of our Newcastle United orientated chats
The Newcastle game was shocking, and if I’m honest Derby deserved to get something out of the game! We had quite a few chances, but just didnt convert them *rollseyes* With about 5 minutes left it looked like Derby were gonna complete the double over us! And that’d be their only 2 wins this season
stayed and watched most of the Blackburn vs Chelsea game, wanting Chelsea to win for selfish reasons (i.e. Chelsea win meant Newcastle were level on points with Blackburn having played the same amount of games
) Got home and watched the one of the biggest rivalries in football. Barcelona vs Real Madrid. Wasn’t a classic, but el classico did have lots of passion and some good play between some of the best players in the world. Was happy to see Real Madrid win 1-0 in the camp Nou, and are now 7 points clear of Barca in 2nd place :DMonday started, and I was gonna go out down Mansfield with John and the others for Wills birthday, but as the day went on, I just couldnt seem to get myself into a festive mood, and I found myself watching more dvd’s throughout the day , until Vicky text me, and said a few of them were gonna go to the Rushley if I fancied it, so it gave me an excuse to get out of the house. Got there and still didnt feel like Christmas Eve. There was Vicky, Lee,and the twins, and later on we were joined by D and Nik. Left bout 10:45ish and laid on the settee watching Red Dwarf
Got up Christmas day, and headed over to my mums. Wasn’t long and our Mick had popped over, hoping that our Owen was up so he can say Merry Christmas, but he was still at Sarahs, but rang my mum not long after, and she said he sounded soooo excited! We all opened our few presents, and my grandma had bought my dad the Zoo joke book
Had me in stitches all day reading it, and I may stick one or two of the good ones up on here at some point. Our Stef shouted us to look out the window cos Owen was walking up the street, and we all started laughing. It was great once he’d walked in and his eyes lit up when he saw “Presents” and he opened them one by one, and had a bit of a play with each toy. He seemed to like the Bob the Builder workshop I’d bought him, but his eyes really did light up when he opened one of my mum and dads presents. “Oh yeah… Hot Wheels” He absolutely loves his cars. Had a nice dinner, and then we all chilled out watching a few films including Finding Nemo and Shrek. Managed to get Owen to agree that our Stef looks like Shrek  Hell as it was Christmas I even watched both episodes of Eastenders and Dr Who
Got home and have uploaded one or two pictures from Christmas Day round at my mothers, and then sat watching The Departed and Red Dwarf on the old Television ![]()
