Well my body is officially beginning to fall apart on me  For the last year or two, after much abuse my knee is starting to become a bit of a pain every now and again, and I’ve got my good physio friend looking into what it could be. Basically when I bend my knee, there is a clicking at the side of the knee cap, and I cant help but think that if i dont sort it, it’ll become bad news later on in life  Top that with my back thats still giving me pain, altho not as bad as the previous day (I still went to the gym, and it was ok so hopefully no long term trouble :? I’m a doctor/Physio’s dream and am thinking about donating my body to medical science later today or something. They may end up publishing a paper in some random medical newsletter that only doctors read about the effects of too much football and things  *wakes up*

Well yesterday I got a text off Ant saying that he’s busy Saturday night, so looks like being me and Lee. Think we’ll have a mosey on round Mansfield for a bit and see whats happening. I’ll be driving again I reckon. Work is going ok, apart from Geoffrey seems to constantly on Zoe’s back about everything, and it’s beginning to bug me, cos thenI get it in the neck! She’s only blooming been here a month or so Jesus!! :? I set a load of instructions going before I left work yesterday, and then got told that I’d done it on purpose, knowing that Maddsy wanted to print something on my printer :? When asked what was so important, he replied with nothing! So why kick up a big fuss? Beyond me. He then asked wether he can stop the print run, and print what he wanted. No point me saying no, cos he was gonna do what he liked anyway *rollseyes* So I just left him to it. Now the printer is asking me to check the paper size and things! And the print run has gone from fitting on a page, and collated, to un-collated, and not fitting on the page. Some people :P

Got home and decided upon a nice long relaxing bath to try and ease the muscle pain. It worked, but deciding to relax so much that my head went under water was a bad idea… my hearing is @ about 75% :| And after perforating my ear-drum last time, I’m gonna stick some of the ear drops I’ve got at home in tonight, and try and break-down the wax.  After a quick bit of gaming on COD 4 again, and reaching another check-point :D And then I headed down to ED To meet Lee and one or two others. (Mainly to get about 8 of my dvd’s back from a certain someone ;) )  Didnt stay down ED for too long as I headed over to the gym bout 9ish, and had a decent session on the back.  Tried one or two stretches to try and loosen my back a little, and it’s not too bad this morning.

Few pics of the american beast :D

Arrgghhh The pain!!
icon1 Wiggy | icon2 Daily Blogs | icon4 11 28th, 2007| icon33 Comments »

Woke up this morning with the mother of all pains in my back! Feels like i’ve pulled a muscle properly or something. It’s right under my shoulder blade! Tried to do self-diagnosis on the NHS direct page, but that just told me to ring 999  Where is my physio friend when I need her ha ha! Lizzie where the hell are you :p

Yesterday at work was steady! A nice stream of work still coming in which is keeping me occupied. During my lunch-break I managed to speak to the owner of the hairdressers I go into, and had a bit of a chat with Claire, and managed to get myself booked in for Friday evening! RESULT! Also sorted out going to pick my brother up to go price a job up for Dee. Lee popped round for a bit, and it’s safe to say that not many folks at work seem to like his new motor  It can only be expected I suppose. I think Marks words were “it has no character and looks hideous” Main thing is Lee likes it so thats that.  I got bored with having the same conversation over and over again about going to football training! I GO TO THE GYM, and pay £28 a month to do so.  If you dont like it… drop me as i said yesterday *rollseyes*
After work I nipped home to get ready for the gym, then went round to see Bonnie. Gem was laid on the settee, and looked shattered and so did little Bonnie, so I didnt stay too long, plus I had to pick my brother up close to 7 so turned down a brew, and said a quick goodbye to Ol, Gem and Bonnie and headed over to my bro’s house. Typically he was out collecting, so I rang hime and told him to get dropped off at mums, and made my way over there. Lew appeared just as I’d got out the car and I was given a Goodfellas Solo’s pizza by my mother  and we headed back into Mansfield to price this job up.

Left there and headed over to the gym, where Carolyn surprised me with her presence ha ha! Always nice to see Caz tho, and we had a bit of a joke about her being a stranger and all that. Once again I stepped it up a bit in the gym, and think this is where my back trouble has come from! I’m not at my physical limits when working out, and sometimes tend to arch my back a little which can only be doing me more harm to my back than anything. Sorted out going into Mansfield again this saturday, and we’ll be doing pretty much the same as the week before, apart from the punch-ball antics  Once we’d finished we noticed a lad had changed the channel on the TV to the Man Utd game, so whilst Caz was finishing on the exercise bike, we stood around/made up exercises whilst watching football ha ha! Got home, and chilled watching Spooks on BBC3 and then headed off to bed, feeling very worn out.

On the Newcastle Fanzine True Faith, and it made me chuckle regarding the Liverpool supporters on saturday…

So it was the turn of the better half of Liverpool to climb over 15,000 stairs to the heights of the away end. As usual they brought their full allocation, but they seemed to leave most of their daft flags with the subliminal messages on them back in the European Capital of Culture 2008 (arf arf).

So although they brought the numbers, the noise was lacking this time. Usually they are very loud from kick off until the final whistle, but it took until they banged in the second goal before this lot got on their feet and started giving us their back catalogue about winning European Cups, Mascherano (oooooh-oooooh-ooooh) and even longer before we got the God awful Gerry and the Pacemakers number that gets on everyone’s wick. I once thought it was impressive seeing Anfield on a European night with them all blazing this out at the tops of their little “ey ey ey” lungs, but now it grates on me big time.

They spoiled themselves for me when they reminded us how much we have won. I thought this lot was a bit more imaginative than that, but no…they sank to the same levels as their inferior neighbours and the rest of the teams who have no imagination when it comes to thinking up original abuse.

So, although they brought the usual full allocation, they were very disappointing for the most part. Still one of the better away followings that drag themselves up into the Gods though.

A quick word to our fans though…less of the booing eh? It feeds into the grubby little paws of the away lot and makes us look ridiculous.

Keep On, Keepin’ On …

Enemy Number 1!!
icon1 Wiggy | icon2 Daily Blogs | icon4 11 27th, 2007| icon3No Comments »

So yesterday was a quiet one tbh.  Work was nice and steady, and there all of a sudden appears to be a stream of enquiries from the website and so that kept me nice and busy, on top of all these things Mark wanted doing.  Think Barbie is still busy on the online shop, and to avoid any abuse I’m leaving him to get on with it

After work I went over to my mums armed with my slow cooker, ready for some more savoury mince :D  Our Stef was in which was unusual, and we both continued ribbing each other in the sibling way ha ha! Never got nice things to say to each other, but we never mean it so it’s all fun.  My mum had been shopping for me, and got me a new t-shirt and jumper top that I can wear in town which was good.

Left there and headed over to the gym for 8.  Was a decent workout on the chest, but the lack of gymage last week, meant it hurt a lot trying to top the weight from last week  Still managed it tho, and I’m feeling it this morning   Whilst John was doing a set of reps, I sent a text to Mr Kirk, asking wether he’d got his new motor or not, so he rang me moments later asking where abouts I lived cos he was tootling down Barringer Road.  Apologised and said I was in the gym, but should be home just gone 9 if he fancied popping round after.  The car sounds loud as fuck on the phone.

Got home and put a movie channel on, and started watching Beerfest.  Then moments after it had started at 10 I heard this almighty rumble of thunder, then some mighty american roar.  I think it’s safe to say that Lee’s first excursion onto my street has turned him into public enemy number 1!!!! I saw atleast 3 people stood in the window when I went out to see it, and am sure Julie and Shaun will ask Maddsy if they know anything about it   It is one crazy ass car he’s got there.

Thats it for now so once again…..

Rocky vs Apollo…

More on the title later!

Friday morning was pretty quite at work. Al had Thursday and Friday off, Brett was at a funeral and Karl was out and about in the works van down south delivering somethings. The morning pretty much flew by, until bang on 12 o’clock!! Thats when Sapa arrived with a loads of aluminium. Luckily there was not too much, and it was light enough to get off by hand. Oddly enough there were 3 of us with Crit helping the driver in the lorry. It’s always much fun watching the “team extreme members” Maddsy and Atom, cos their little legs looks like they’re gonna give way under them just like newly born lambs  The first batch was light enough and we all carried them on our own. Then the fun was the next batch, which seemed about 15ft long  Maddsy and Atom struggled to get their lot into the building, but me being me… my physicality took over, and I managed on my own ha ha ha. I then joked to Mark that he needs to impliment some sort of company gym membership, cos atom nearly broke maddsy’s toe by dropping the stuff, to which Maddsy responded by trying to flex his muscles and saying “bla bla bla.. I’m wiggy and I go to the gym”

Once that was out of the way I nipped home to brush my teeth again, and then headed over to the dentist in Kirkby. Parked up in the gym car park, and got a bit of money out, and nervously made my way in. Got in, and spoke to the receptionist, and found out that the dentist I was due to see was actually on holiday, and that even tho they’d taken my details on the phone when I rang up for an appointment, they’d sent a letter to my mum and dads informing me of the cancellation! DOH! All that nervousness for nothing

Once i’d got the form, and a new appointment, I decided to ring Mr Kirk, and see if he had anything planned for the afternoon., and he didnt, so i nipped round to see him, and watch American Chopper and that. We decided to head over to the Ranger for a pint and a game of pool, but it was shut, so we proceeded to the “Goold Ole faithful” The Hutt. Lee dont appear to be much of a gambling man, but put a quid in the deal or no deal, and on his first spin he won a fiver  not to be out done I put a couple of pounds sterling in the machine, and it gave me the same as Lee! £5 repeater… only difference is… I repeated and won a tenner, so we made a quick exit after that, as he said he’d meet his sister off the school bus

Got home really unimpressed with the text Maddsy sent me calling me a “cunt” as if i’d made all this dentist thing up to have the afternoon off *rollseyes* Went back on Call of Duty 4 for a bit, and once again became stuck, and very annoyed with the game, so turned it off for a bit whilst I cooled down haha! Wasn’t too long before I was back on it, and flying again! Ordered myself a pizza and sat watching telly for a bit after that.

Woke up Saturday morning feeling slightly apprehensive about the Newcastle game against Liverpool later that morning and so nipped to the shop to get some bread, milk and tea bags, and then chilled out watching Soccer AM. Then it was crunch time! My comparde, was on his way up to watch the Rochdale vs Mansfield game, and said it was a piss poor game, and Stags could have lost by more than 1-0 had it not been for the evergreen Carl Muggleton  The Newcastle game was DIRE!! I was almost ashamed. They played pretty much the same way England did in midweek, and look a shade of the side that started the season IMO. Seems Stevie G only seems to play well when he’s in a red shirt! So maybe England should change their shirt colour if they really wanna get the best out of him *rollseyes* He did play well tho, and Liverpool deserved to win by more than 3-0, which pains me to admit. Spent the rest of the afternoon watching Soccer Saturday and seeing the results come in, until Lee Westwood called to say he was in the area, and there had been a big smash up on Barringer road or something, and was it OK for him to nip round and go on Call of Duty 4, so we tried to sort out some scenarios, but the multiplayer ended up with just me and him, which was nothing like the unlimited enemies on GRAW2
Started getting ready to hit the town for Ant’s birthday, and must have tried on about 5 or 6 t-shirts before deciding on my black Henleys one  Once ready I headed over to Ravenshead to pick up Mr Kirkand make our merry way into town. Parked up in the usual place and sent Ant a txt asking him where he was, and that we were gonna call into Andwhynots whilst waiting for him, and also cos it was freezing, and it was the first pub we came to ha ha! after a swiftish one in there we managed to find out Ant wanted to meet in Red Square, so we headed over there, and I saw an old mate from football ,Will who co-runs it with someone I knew from school. After a while, Mini-Bean and Bean came in with one or two others dressed as gangstas. Ant was about half an hour behind everyone, and once he got there, was stood at the bar for a good 20 minutes, before everyone decided to head off down to 53.

After about 20 minutes in there, me, Mr X and Mr Y decided to head upstairs for a lap-dance :D Mr X and Y went in first as there only seemed to be 3 dancers on, and then about 10 minutes after I went in! £10 well spent in our eyes  We then decided to move on, and after hitting the cash machine we headed over to Romans and had a drink or two in there, and met up with Mini-Bean and them, and this lass Ant knows decided it’d be fun to knock my pint all over me and Lee :? Crazy lass. There was this lass called Heather who was also dressed in white tie and hat, and Lee and Ant kept nicking her hat throughout the night (For which Lee got a slap for  ) Left Romans and headed over to Yates’s to see Bekki, and see if they had any queue jump tickets or anything, but they’ve stopped doing them WOUNDED!!

Lee Deep in Thought… Mini-Bean posing… Random lass who knocked my drink into Lee
Few more random pics
Lee with stolen hat… Bekki trying to evade a photo… Lee striking my favourite pose
From Yates’s we went over to Flanigans, and Ant got himself a shout-out for his birthday from Ratus, and they had a quick drink, and then we were on our way into QI. Ant tossed a coin to see which of me or Lee could get in with a discount, and Lee won, even tho I said cos I was driving I didnt mind paying full price! Kylie seemed her usual chirpy self on the door  As soon as we got inside I knew exactly where Ant was heading, and he didnt let me down. Straight to the punch-ball!! Throughout the night I think between him and Lee they spent best part of £30 on this blooming thing, trying to out gun each other just like Rocky and Apollo Creed ha ha ha! Bumped into Will, and mentioned we’re looking at hitting Newcastle in the New Year, and he seemed up for it, and I’m sure John and a few others would be too! Was a good night, and I bumped into our Ryan, who was more than pleased to see me yet again! Telling these quite nice lasses that I am “tigger” and that we went on a voyage to Bratislava for what should have been my stag-do bla bla  Gotta love the little guy ha ha! Lee’d had enough by about 1ish, so we headed over to my car, and waited on Toothill for Ant’s lift to materialise, and Lee spotted a few of his mates in the car-park, so he went to speak to them. Got home at roughly half 1 and watched some random american football game, as too much Rola Cola meant I didnt feel tired. All in all a cracking night, literally haha!

Lee showing us the way… Ant “giving it some welly”… Goofy Ant

A slighty worse for wear Ant and Heather… Heather and her mate… The 3 stooges and Heather

Ant with his new toy… Ant using new toy as a hairdryer… Lee in new christmas range of deerstalker hats

Got up at 9ish and got myself for the game against Matthews and Tannerts. This had been billed by Bradshaw and some others as a massive Derby day sort of game. It all stemmed from a few of them leaveing M&T to start up Rachells, and to be brutally honest we’d lost the game before we’d even started. People seemed to get too carried away, and when it came to battling for the ball, people shit out of the challenges. I’ll admit there was one or two I didn’t go in whole hearted for, cos I had work today  In the end we lost 2-0, and I played all the way across the back 4 again. I don’t mind being versatile, but I’d prefer it if Brad could give me a position and stick to it. It gets slightly annoying forever changing position during a game.

Got home and had a nice relaxing bath, as my back around my kidneys was a bit tender thanks to a knee in the back from Zippy, and basically chilled out for a bit alternating between the xbox and the football on Sky. Once that had finished I turned MTV base on and chilled on Football Manager 07, where I am England, and current World Cup holders, Euro Champions, and Confederations Cup winners  That was until Fee rang and asked if there was any chance I could pick Lee up early, cos they’d headed down to LSOM for a bit. Got down there and they were already in the pub, so we said Bonjour to a few folks, and then headed off to the pub to meet the masses. There were quite a few out, and Ant was given his birthday present from Fee (minus batteries may we add ha ha) and Lee also got a present. Was a nice night, and great to see a load of people out.

Work has been ok today, and I managed to get myself over to the gym, and I need 2 fillings and a tooth removed  Just waiting to find out what time I’m off to the gym.

Nov 22

So not really been upto a deal lately, so not really thought much about updating this. Work has got progressively busier as the week has gone on, and Maddsy is still tearing his hair out with this online shop. Zoe really does not like being left in the office on her own with Geoffrey, so if there is me, her and Geoffrey in, and I go to chat with Crit, she’ll follow me, or come looking for me 2 minutes later  One this made me laugh… Maddsy nipped outside and came into the office moaning “It’s freezing outside” to which I just replied.. “no it aint! You’ll know when it’s cold” Which automatically meant that I had “face on” this compunded with Geoffrey asking if we’d done a quote for the awning company for someone, and all I said was “Nope dont think so” And again I had “face on” :lol; I work with some idiots.

Left work monday, and nipped upto Asda for some tea. Ended up buying a massive Shepherd Pie and Cumberland Pie that were 2 for £4! Bargain :D Only problem was, couple that with a good few slices of bread, and I was proper stuffed ha ha! Got back just before 6, and put the Survivor Series on that was being repeated from the previous night. The match of the night was defo Batista vs The Undertaker, and there was blood and carnage all around, and it was defo Hell in the Cell!!
Once the last fight had finished I headed over to the gym for gone 9, and it was torture! John was feeling dizzy, and I felt weak! Everything seemed to have got heavier overnight, but once we’d started we soon seemed to get back into the swing of it. Managed to have a great nights sleep tho, which was a welcomed boost from the previous weeks 3am sleeps :(

I knew I wasn’t going to the gym tuesday night, so asked Phil if him and Helen were free, as I was gonna pop round, but Helen had stuff on, so Phil came round. We had a chat about this and that, and them the serious stuff started  Popper Pro Evo on, and our friendship was forgotten about for 20 minutes! I managed to sneak a late winner in stoppage time at the end of the 2nd half of extra time to win 3-2, but Phil claimed he didnt know which half it was :? YEAH RIGHT!! Two more games ensued in a best of 3 round of matches, and I was victorious 3-2 in the end! Scoring with minutes to go, after Phil had both CB’s sent off  Was great to see him, and altho he remembered to take his coat with him this time… he almost left his bloody hat ha ha!. For some reason I decided to go back onto Call of Duty on Veteran, and continue playing where I had earlier gotten before Phil came round. I ended up stuck on one level where there are just swarms of enemies, and it’s pretty much a case of one shot and you’re dead  (really surprised i’ve gotten this far tbh) Ended up Talladega Nights for a bit, and then The Godfather 3, before retiring to my pit for the night. Where are you, Pepe Le Bitch?

Yesterday was pretty much same old same old at work, As i said earlier, I’ve been getting busier as the week has gone on, and I’m looking forward to buggering off at dinner on friday, even tho it’s to go to the dentists  I got a nice text from Lee in the morning saying he’d got back, and it was bloody freezing haha! Without realising I replied, then it hit me.. it was still his mobile number from Bahrain! Damn it! The little conversation had cost me £1 just welcoming him back. (I’ll bill him for that one later) Also had a few texts from Ant, who is also trying to go through COD 4 on Veteran, and is celebrating his birthday this weekend, so I’ve gone from maybe out, to defo out, but driving  Like I said in my mini-blog yesterday, I got chatting to Olly about random domain names, and was thinking about buying ninjacows.co.uk, after one fucked up conversation with Ol the other day, when I told him some bad news that I’ll get onto later! We were on about how I only saw 1 cow in the car park at Portland Hall Hotel, when there were 6 terrorising the parked cars. Olly saw 3, so I said they must have been ninja cows or sommat, and well camouflaged hahaha! Then he warned me not to go home, cos there maybe said ninja cows in my attic, ready to swing through the attic door and attack me in the middle of the night with cow samurai swords :? (I’d like to point out, neither one of us had been smoking or taking any drugs of any kind! not even Lemsip) Then I decided to buy the two new domain names :D

Me and Crit seem to be having a healthy competition on COD 4 now! Who can complete the game, and get all 1000 achievement points quickest! I’m currently 10 points ahead of him  Wow. I feel like I’m in Highlander!
Last night I got home, and rang my mum back to see what she wanted me for earlier in the day, this is after it looks like I’ve got our Lewi a bit of a job for Dee which will be nice as it’ll be just before Christmas too. My mum said she kept asking Owen what his name was, and he’d say “Owen White” but then after a while he decided he didnt wanna be called Owen White.. he wanted to be Owen Purple  That really did make me chuckle. After sitting down on COD 4 AGAIN for a bit, I got more than frustrated on level 4, so decided to head over to Rachells to watch England with some of the football lads.

Got there nice and early, and Scottie was already there with one or two of his mates, and wasnt long before Brad and Moorey came in too. The game as a whole was quite entertaining, and it’s amazing how shite the England players were! Wayne Bridge should announce his international retirement after the shocker he had! Not even I’ve played that bad when faced with a massive hangover  Well it appears McClaren has been given the push by the FA, so my application will be in the post later today I reckon :D I’m still trying to fathom out, why he played with 2 wingers pushing on, with a target man up front on his own, yet rather than get to the by-line and get the crosses in for Crouch to attack… they cut inside and get crowded out! It was a case of that or the Centre-backs picking the ball up in defence and hoofing it 50 yards to Crouch who would win the flick-ons, but have no-one within 20 yards of him! Ohh well! Saved me some money, as I was looking to go to the championships had England qualified.  Was quite amusing getting text messages from Maddsy saying he cant sit down, and that he’d smoked 20 fags! Had he been watching it in andwhynots?  So I asked him to define “smoking fags” given he cant sit down, and he didnt reply! how rude hahaha
This morning I went ahead and bought ninjacows.co.uk! Now I just need something to stick on there

Hmm more domains

Chatting to Olly earlier, and I was on about random domain names like Ninjacows.co.uk and things, and it got me thinking.. wonder if my name is available as a .co.uk domain.  Did a quick search on mikeywhite.co.uk and mikey-white.co.uk and both were free… so you can imagine what i’ve done :D

Both are pointing to here for now, but when I come up with some hair-brained scheme like maybe an online shop, i’ll get Maddsy to help me

Call of Duty 4…
icon1 Wiggy | icon2 Daily Blogs | icon4 11 19th, 2007| icon32 Comments »

Well it all started with a text message from Crit on friday afternoon  Telling me that he’d gone and bought Call of Duty 4. The pair of us had not shut up about it for atleast a week solid at work ha ha! Coupled with the fact almost everyone I knew with an Xbox had COD4, I was on a mission from work friday. Nip to asda and get the game, and get as far as I could before watching the England game on telly :D

Was quite successful, and I even managed to get a 3 film comedy disc set from asda for £7! This included State Troopers, Club Dread and Freddy got Fingered! Got home, and within 5 minutes of setting the xbox up to play online again, Ant had invited me to play online with him, before I’d even had time to look at the game, so told him to give me a bit of game time on a single player mission first  Carried on playing, and ordered my Pizza Hut, whilst pausing the game to chat to Zoe and Lizzie on msn :D Sometimes I get really frustrated on games when I cant get through one bit, and this prompted me to turn off the xbox, and sit and watch telly whilst waiting for my snap to arrive. The first half of the England game I thought was dire, and this made me turn it off at half-time having watched Michael Owen limp off again, and looks like spending the next month on the sidelines! Carried on trawling through my new game, and got far enough for one night, and headed to bed.

I must have been tired as I didnt rise from my pit till gone 11, and then proceeded to continue where I left off on my game for a bit. Continue to get frustrated and contemplated throwing my dummy out, and launching the controller against the wall, but then thought better of it, and realised I will not be defeated by a machine. Time passed, and I got ready to watch the Scotland game! For the day I was a Scotland fan, and thought it’d be great if they managed to qualify for the finals in Austria & Switzerland. Must be the distant Scottish roots.  For some reason there always seems to be a party atmosphere before the Scottish home games, and unlike down this side of the border, the fans seem to be in their seats more than half an hour before kick-off, and are all singing and dancing in their seats.  Worst possible start for them tho, and they were 1-0 down after about 1 minute DOH! Typical Rachells marking from a throw-in ha ha!  They managed to get a goal back, but more Rachells like marking from a free-kick (that shouldnt have been) meant they lost 2-1 having given their all, and making Italy look a very very normal side.  Part way through the second half I switched over to the Israel vs Russia game, and about 20 seconds later it was 1-0 Israel! GAME ON!!  Even tho I said I wouldn’t watch the game, I found myself watching the 2nd half whilst munching away on my chinese.  Talk about nervy! Englands qualification was at stake!! Russia went through, and their attacker slipped it past the keeper…. it hit the post… and rolled out for a goal kick! This was at 1-1 with minutes left.  Then Israel nicked the ball from the Russian defender, and went through and scored! Now all England need to do is draw against Croatia on Wednesday! COME ON ENGLAND!!! After all that excitement I chilled for the rest of the night watching Mission Impossible 3 and then Smackdown.

Got to Homebase earlier than the rest of the lads, and sat listening to the stereo.  Turned out we were playing in Bull Farm, and we only had 11 men.  I was partly expecting us to get a battering from a side who aint lost this season, and they were all tall players, but through guts and determination, and a never say die attitude from the leader of the back line… ME  (Rob helped too) we managed to go in 1-0 at half time! This with having 10 men for a while, as Malc went off with dizzyness (The fact Ste Bradshaw scored cant have helped! I think everyone was dizzy afater that)  2nd half it was manning the trenches sort of stuff (quite litterally given the potato patch for a goal area :? )! They kept throwing everything at us, and a fluke shot from one of their players who’d managed to get just enough space went over Moorey.  In the end we went down 4-2, but we kept on fighting which is something we’ve been guilty of not doing! Maybe we missed either of the tanks in the middle of midfield along side Nick (Maddsy or Bobby - Takes them about 5 minutes to turn on the ball  )

After football I headed over to my mum and dads for some dinner, and our Owen was there.  He makes me laugh, cos he was going through a catalogue looking for toys with my mum saying “Yes please” to everything he wanted, even though he had a load of the toys already.  Our stef was getting ready to go out, and Owen asked what that noise was, so me and my dad sent him upstairs to tell him to turn the music down.  It worked, until Owen got to the bottom of the stairs, when according to my mum, Owen stood there shaking his head and said “Ohh not again”, hethen came through and told my dad that Steffie was being naughty playing his music too loud  You’ve gotta love little kids.  After a few brews, I headed off for a nice long soak in the bath, and god did i need it! I was covered from head to toe in mud!! God knows how Bradshaw is gonna get a White kit clean for next week ha ha ha! Ended up spending the evening relaxing after my nice soak and watching a dvd or two before Top Gear came on.  After that I found myself in bed quite early, and had a very decent nights sleep.

Had a friend request this morning from someone I aint spoken to in ages.  Those who read this may remember I went to the Ranger for a bit with Rob aka Jeff, and thought I’d spotted my uncle Rob, and it turned out I was right.  Well our Lindsay has added me and our heather on facebook, and said she spotted me a while back, and wasnt entirely sure if it was me or not, and I was thinking the exact same thing! :D
