So Friday go pick our Lewi and Stef up to go collecting for Malc. First stop, and Lewi mentioned that Oil was leaking! Great what a start!! Managed to get to the garage after a few more stops, and filled it up with oil, hoping to be able to make it back! Made it back, and bought some more oil, to fill up any lost on the way back via a few dodgy streets in mansfield! Altho i did see an 07 plate Audi R8! Didnt get any pics tho, but here’s one i’ve found on the net…
Got back to my mum and dads, and Owen was there, and still awake, so laughed at him, as he became increasingly hyper the longer me and Lewi were there (IIRC was staying at my mum and dads friday night) Whilst filling the car up with Oil, Owen was on the front, playing with my dads car keys, making the central locking come on and off, and making the lights flash! When he saw my bonnet up, he asked me if “Mikey had broken it” so explained that yeah Mikeys car was broken 
Simple things eh! Had a bit of fun with Owen messing round with my central locking, to see the look on Owens face! He seemed to get a bit upset when I said that I was going home, and he even asked our lewi “Daddy can i go in Mikeys car please?” with an upset look on his face! Our Lewi brought him out to the car when I was leaving, and once i started pulling off the drive, I could see he had his head on our Lewi’s shoulder and he was crying! Got home feeling really really bad, as i hardly see him at the best of times, and so got a bit upset, specially as my mum said whenever he heard the front door go, he’d see if it was me walking through! And when our Hev nipped round, he asked where I was! My mum phoned me and said he screamed for a bit afterwards, but had since gone to bed!
Got home and watched a bit of CSI, and Lee Westwood nipped round to see if we could see where the Oil was coming from, and it turns out the Oil filter had a big crack in it! So that meant saturday mornings job was halfrauds, then change it! So as said, got up nice and early and nipped over to halfrauds to pick up some more oil, and a new filter! How bloody difficult it was to change it! Lee came over to watch over me I think! Took bloody ages, and i must admit.. i wasn’t impressed with getting covered in warm oil! Not that sort anyway
Got washed, and changed, and sat and watched a bit of Soccer AM, which then turned into the Sunderland vs Tottenham game, then Soccer Saturday, to see how the toon would fare on the opening day of the season! Much joy was felt when the final score came in! Big Sam had got one over on his good friend Little Sam at Bolton! 3-1, and from what I saw on Football First later sat night, we were awesome at times! Sat night i’d agreed to pick my sister up from Mansfield bout 12ish, so I chilled watching more TV. Went to start the car up when my sister txt me, and the battery was dead! MOST ANNOYED!!
Sunday got up and txt Brad to see if anyone could nip out their way and come pick me up for footy, and said i’d walk up to Asda if that’d help! Part of me wishes I hadn’t! Lost 8-1 and ripped the bloody scab off my knee again, and also grazed down the other left too! Match Report below.
This is the hardest report i’ve had to write up to date, it is impossible to take any positives from the game at all.
We simply didnt turn up today, since the moment their first goal went in our heads were down.
Taking nothing away from Boothys, they were probably the most beatable team we have played in pre-season, yet we found ourselves 6-1 down at half-time.
We re-shuffled abit at half-time with Brad coming on to try and tighten up a leaky defence and free Bobby up for a midfield holding role, but we just was’nt interested and eventually went down 8-1.
If we play like this when the season kicks off in 3 weeks time then we will be closer to the bottom than the top. Some players need to take a look at themselves and decide if they are willing to fight for the team, as i didnt see much out on the pitch at all.
This result can go down as experiance as we are lucky that it was only a friendly. I expect a drastic improvement next week or changes will be enforced.
No man of the match today as no one deserved it.
Sunday afternoon was lazy, spent watching even more football! Man i’ve missed it Along with abusing Maddsy who was on his way up to Old Trafford to watch the champions in action! TBF It was a game United should have won! Having 75% of the possession, but they seem to have too may players who play the same! They need a big target man like Ruud! Proper wounded that Chelsea won too grrr! But Newcastle are top of the league after 1 game thanks to our victory over Bolton Lets cancel the league now HAHAHAHAHA
Jumped in the bath, and turned the air blue after the Man Utd game, both legs stung like a fucker! Roll on the rainy weather is what I say! Cant play football on dry ground! It hurts too much Lee came round again, to try and get the battery sorted, but to no avail 
Was in bed quite early last night, due to the fact I was knackered after footy.

Yesterday started with fun again! The light above my table started to flicker once Captain Miserable went home, so we turned them off for the rest of the afternoon, so when he came in to work the following morning, he trundled up the stairs, and immediately said “This is silly! Why must you have the lights off” to which I turned round and gave the answer of “Cos the light is flashing, and needs the tube replacing, so unless you want Wiggy home by 10sm with a headache, we’ll wait for someone to come in and sort it!” Much chuntering to himself later, about how its too dark to see/do anything, he seemed to get over it
Rest of the day wasn’t too bad! Got Captain Miserable to nip into town at dinner, and get me and Maddsy a lovely Cornish Pasty! Which may I say was fantastic as always! Other than that, nothing too major to report work-wise haha!
Got home and put on my new Classic Trance Anthems, which is a quality cd, and chilled in the bath, and then got ready to meet Lee and Nic at the Rushley, so they could follow me down to the Ranger. Was half expecting Lee to drive, but *shock* He got Nic to drive, so he could have a few beers! Got there and saw Jeff, who’d just finished his steak with his mate, so we then picked a table and ordered, and then saw my Uncle walk in, so went over for a quick chat with him, and before we knew it we were tucking into our lovely steaks! So glad they got Lee and Nics approval hehe! Cos i normally hate recommending things, for that reason! what if they hate it??
No sooner had we finished, but this familiar figure was spotted coming towards us! Meatball had been to pick Zaynah up, and come round for a bit. Had a good laugh, and I got beat by Meatball at pool, and then struggled to beat Nic and Zaynah!! :oops: Had some great chats and laughs with the 4 of them, and shall defo be doing it again soon!
So all in all, a wicked night! Enjoyed by everyone
So yesterday morning Captain Miserable’s car was being serviced, so he was in late, and some idiot had forgotten to turn the air con unit off at night (good job I was the first person in, and it was lovely and cool in the office! Decided not to turn the lights on either to keep the temp down a bit All changed once Captain Miserable came in *rollseyes* “Why have we not got the lights on bla bla bla bla bla bla” He left early, so the end of the afternoon was spent on yahoo answers, answering this stupid question maddsy had posted, of which a copy is about 2 blogs down
Got home, and chilled for a bit before going on to Maxxd football. Was a good game, up untill Lee Westwood decided to cheat! Phil went down under a challenge of Mchugh, and kicked the ball out! Definite penalty, but Lee was adamant it was a corner 
WTF!!! Phil kicked the ball out! So it’s either a penalty or a goal-kick mate! *rollseyes* some people 
Decided against going down ED, cos was feeling shattered, so sat having a milkshake whilst watching Bad Boys! Tonight I’m going to the Ranger for steak night again Mentioned it to Lee a few days ago, and seems him and Nic are up for it hehe!

Yesterday was a random day! Wasn’t as hot as the Monday, but still quite warm. Lee went over to the Bacon cob van at dinner, so I had a nice Sausage, Egg and Beans cob, change in diet happening very very soon tho and it’ll be for the better I think 
Left work early yesterday for the first time in god knows how long! It’s not as if it aint owed to me, for doing such a wonderful job filling in for maddsy! He does have big shoes to fill, or is that a big waist-band HAHAHA!! And met John outside the Fez Hall, so we could travel upto Peak Physique! Had a session on the shoulders and back, and it killed me! It felt like i’d been punched by Ricky Hatton on both arms! They just felt dead Nipped into Asda on my way home, and bought myself a George Foreman grill, and some Whey! Stupidly I bought some chicken portions, instead of chicken fillets, so they’ve found their way into the bottom of my freezer, as I wanted chicken breast fillets to go on a cob DOH!!
Ended up on msn, chatting to the likes of Fee and Meatball for a bit, before going onto facebook to spam a few pages, and found out Lee’s mum and sister were abusing him, so I joined in haha! Seem to have become friends with is mum now
I crashed out on the settee after and watched a bit of telly! Today i’m feeling shattered, after a third restless nights sleep, but i aint aching as much as i expected to be
Dont think it tastes too nice, but if it gets any worse in this office, i think i may have to have a bite with some BBQ sauce!! Got to one stage yesterday afternoon tho, where i was beginning to feel ill, it was that warm in the office
That aside, work wasn’t too bad, apart from going through all last weeks orders with Maddsy sorting out what i’d done PO wise and that, and what he needed to sort out. During our 3 o’clock break, we were on about driving and things, and then heard a screech and bang! Turns out a netto lorry had gone into the back of a seat on Woodhouse round, and spun it into the path of an oncoming taxi! That was the hightlight of the day at work tho
Nipped home after work, and got changed, then headed over to le gym! Had a good session, altho I was struggling near the end of the bench pressing, as John keeps sneaking the weights up Decided that I really do need to push myself these next 2 weeks at the gym, cos when John gets back from Ibiza, he’s gonna be suffering, and unable to do anything, meanwhile, I’ll have been going regular as clock-work, and see the improvements (thats the plan anyway )
After chatting to John in the gym, I decided to text someone from the past, and was unsure wether or not i’d get a reply! So you can imagine the smile on my face when I got a reply Not gonna go into the reasons why I text this person, but was nice to hear from them
Got home, and had a nice long chat with Maddsy on the phone bout this and that, and heard Kieran crying, so got to speak to him, and made him laugh according to his father! There appears to be one or two things that are annoying the pair of us, so we both voiced our opinions on said subjects! He said if the companies Man Utd season tickets dont arrive before thew weekend, he’s gotta go upto pick them up from the box office! But then that means he needs someone who looks about 40 odd, to pretend to be Mark Taylor, who will no doubt be in London watching Chelsea! I offered to go, saying i’d get away with looking 28, meaning I thought Maddsy would pass as Mark, but I aint gonna put on here his reply! HAHAHA

Friday morning at work went by without a hiccup, and we thought we’d have a nice peaceful afternoon to wind down, ready for Maddsy coming back to work Monday morning! How wrong could we be!! Well tbh it started Friday morning, when some contacts of Mark came in with an Italian Cookbook, and hundreds of pages marked, wanting me to make up a 6m x 1m Banner for them to use on their marquee. This meant hours of pain-staking scanning and editing of photos, of which I still aint managed half of them!! Then Friday afternoon seemed to be the afternoon from hell! People ringing up wanting spares left right and centre.
Got home friday night, and told Wayniac I didnt fancy hitting town, cos i was knackered as hell, but once i’d had a long soak in the bath, with some tunes playing and a few beers flowing, I was more than ready :lol:, So arranged to meet Bagi and Wayniac in the Swan at 9! Turned out to be a quality night, with us visiting a few of the pubs I wouldnt normally go in, and had shots galore Ended up in Chicago for the rest of the night!
Was woken up at bout 9ish by a txt from Bagi telling me he got in at 5, and had a quality night hahaha! Spent all day saturday recovering tbh, and just chilled watching the Twenty 20 cricket and a few films! Had chinese sat night, for the first time in god knows how long haha!
Sunday woke up and went over to “Casa de Swiss Family Maddox” to pick the father up to go play football! Originally we were playing a team called Sherwood Colts, but turns out it was the Clipstone Town Reserves! Didnt play, cos knowing my luck i’d rip the scab off my knee again, and it’ll never bloody heal! Was quite a close game, and Maddsy hit a rocket volley onto the post from the edge of the area! Made a great noise haha! Ended up running the line, so decided to get a bit of colour, and took my shirt off for the first half hehehe! Safe to say my back is a nice colour now Just need to get the front looking the same! After dropping Maddsy off, and picking up some Oil for the 106, I headed off to my mums for some dinner, and to watch the Footy! Wasn;t too bad a game, altho i have a feeling the first league meeting between the pair will be more blood and thunder than this affair
Once i got back from the parents, I chilled watching a few programs on TV, and also getting some practice in on Pro Evo, cos unsure wether I’m going to Maxxd football this week, cos the side i’ve signed for on sundays are having a Pro-Evo tournament Sat on the net chatting to one or two of my friends, whilst watching Ong-Bak! This is a film that Olly had been ranting and raving about when he was working here, and I can see why! It’s an awesome film!
The Toon have signed another new player! Goes by the name of Alan Smith!! Someone i’d have liked to have seen come when Shearer was still playing, before he went to Man Utd! Better later than never tho
