Hmmm for some reason I’m aching like hell! May have something to do with me expecting a phone call bout 8ish last night, and thus telling John i couldnt really get to the gym for 8:15, so he was on his own! He’d only have been gloating bout his 3rd sunny holiday of the year

Yesterday was fun at work, altho Maddsy was giving me Ball-ache, for some of the nasty messages i’d sent him, and also for having him run the line in my Rachells FC starting line-up  Was all in good humour tho. And all was forgiven by lunch-time when I did the customary trip to Mansfield for some David Boots sausage rolls :D And it was quite funny in the afternoon, when he worked out his flight to Hong Kong was gonna take his 17 1/2 hours to get there and 6 hours to get back
Had part of a message off my mum asking “Is your car” and that was it  So i ignored it, only for her to ring me through work, and call me ignorant for ignoring her text message :? Turns out she had the day off, and was going to Tesco on Chesterfield Road, and wondered if i’d be a darling and pick her up once i’d finished work *rollseyes* So come 5 o’clock and the Champions League draw! Mark said to get it on, so he knows where to plan his travels this winter  but we couldnt have sound on, cos my computer dont play sound :? But the draw was taking that bloody long, in half an hour, we’d found out what groups the top seeds were in, and that was it, so we buggered off home instead haha!

Picked my mum up, and then nipped her home, and tried to get my dads new digi-box working, but to no avail! Got home, and spent best part of half an hour going through options with my dad, but still to no avail.  Turned mine on again, and whilst on the phone, i’d changed some settings, which i was unaware of, and lost all my channels  And now it’s taking forever to find them again  So decided to watch one of my top 5 films AGAIN.  Full Metal Jacket!! Was meaning to watch it for a day or two, since Mr Kirk mentioned him and his mates sat and watched it a few days back! What a film, altho I still maintain the best quotes in the film are at the beginning :D

Here is a picture of little Kieran getting a little messy with some ice-cream  Also he’d had his hair-cut yesterday, and i think he’s looking a little bugger haha

So after a good few days rest my shoulder/back is still hurting when I do certain movements! But still didnt stop me visiting the gym last night  When John txt to ask if i was going, I told him that the back/shoulder is still sore, so I wont be pushing the weights too much, to which the cheeky fucker replied… “Whats new?”

For the first time in a while, we actually did some back work, but this was interrupted by a flatulent Dawson, which was not appreciated haha! Arms began to ache quite alot towards the middle of the work-out, but it’s worth it in the long run I think  Got home, and almost fell asleep watching the Man City game, so headed up to bed bout 9ish feeling absolutely shattered, only to find that I just couldnt get to sleep :? Something which has become quite common these last 3/4 nights

The last 2 days at work have dragged to say the least! Not helped by the fact I aint had a decent nights sleep and was feeling in pain with my back, so it’s good to have Maddsy back mwahahah! Good job the lad has a sense of humour given some of the texts i’ve sent him the last few days :P And we can have a laugh and lift the mood! As the first 2 days this week it was like a morgue upstairs in the office!

Got in touch with a lad through facebook that I aint spoken to in the best part of 15 years! The pair of us at infants and junior school seemed inseparable, and along with another lad, were called “the three musketeers” by the teachers at Moor Lane! This was helped that we all lived with in a few houses of each other in Mansfield, and we did everything together :D Anyway, sent his sister a message, in the hope that it was beth, and luckily enough it was, and so I had a chat with her, and she remembers me from all them years ago, and mentioned a tipex incident, to which i have no recollection  Turns out Andy has just got back from Iraq, where he is a Captain in the Tank Regiment! Not bad to say he always used to love Airplanes, and I expected him to be in the RAF or something  Also got back in touch with some other people who I have not spoken to since school! Safe to say my myspace page is being neglected, and I may even remove my account lol!

Good result for Newcastle last night against Barnsley! We always seem to come a cropper against lower league teams in cup competitions, so nice to keep our unbeaten run going!  Seems that I missed a cracker of a game at Celtic! They went through 4-3 on penalties, and complete a 6 out of 6 team sweep in the champions league draw later today!

Had a bit of good news on the car front, and hopefully will be paying the guy a visit saturday if all goes well :D

True-Faiths Match report from the Tyne-Tees Game! I wont call it a “Derby-game” as it riles members of the geordie nation

Once again it had me LQTOS ;-)

I always look forward to my annual tour of Yarm and all of the other sight-seeing delights in and around the Teeside area prior to every visit to the Smog-net Riverside Stadium which are conducted by those fine people at Cleveland Plod. My only beef with them is that one of the Polis’ should stand at the front of the away coaches with a megaphone and inform everyone of the landmarks as we pass them; “and on your left, is another smog chimney, and on your right, is another smog chimney, and on your left….”

Ex-knickers factory owner and current England Manager Mike Baldwin very kindly relieved Michael Owen from England duty which allowed him to take his place on our bench as Big Sam opted for the same starting XI for the 3rd consecutive time this season. We were forced into a change early on as one of Carr’s hamstrings popped like a virginal cherry and Ramage replaced him at right back. We opened the scoring after 22 minutes thanks to an absolute pearler from young Prince Charles. He evaded 2 challenges after receiving the ball on the left touch-line and unleashed a superlative curling effort past Schwarzer into the top corner via his right peg and a net full of hungry hippos would not have been suffice to gobble up the effort.

The game was squared up 6 minutes later when Mido just managed to keep himself onside (thanks to his new mop-chop) after Rochemback put him in and he rounded Harper before finishing with a bomb sorry aplomb. I have no qualms at all with how Mido celebrated (although nonchalantly flicking the “V’s” from the halfway line at us is another matter) as the away contingent had given him stick but Southgate should shut his over-sized gnashers for his post match comments. He blasted NUFC fans for having the audacity to sing naughty ditties at the shoe-bomber Richard Reid lookalike (prior to his mop-chop); erm, I’m sure I heard the demented seals (Don’t forget that seals will jump 30 feet out of water when a fish is dangled in front of them so who knows what they will do if you were to dangle a zinger burger above them) in the home end singing “fat greedy bastard” and abusing Viduka throughout the game. In any case, I thought our fans were very welcoming towards Mido as we chanted “Mido’s, Mido’s, Mido’s” after spotting the Egyptian’s family in the home end…..

Ramage went off injured after 58 minutes and was replaced by Cacapa (“he’s not from Ayia Napa, he’s from Brazil, he’s ‘kin brill”) who looks a steady no-nonsense defender. The 2nd half was a dismal spectacle and it looked nailed on to fizzle out at 1-1 until a moment of brilliance from The Duke. Geremi dinked a ball to him inside their box and he managed to hold off Woodgate (I know who I’d back in a “see-saw off”) via his upper body mass before delightfully flicking the ball past our former scraggily haired-centre half and burying past Schwarzer into the bottom corner. 2-1 up, 10 minutes to go with the former home team’s hero acting as the villain; fairytale for NUFC and The Duke? Sadly, no! We once again shot ourselves in the foot by failing to deal with a corner and the ball eventually landed at the feet of the crap-haired ex-mackem Argentine who volleyed past Harper from the edge of the box to level things up. We could have nicked it late on but Owen failed to connect with N’Zogbia’s floated free kick. Any touch, even the merest flick from his ear lobe would surely have resulted in a goal.

It’s definitely a case of 2 points dropped having led twice and I wish the press would stop labelling these matches as derbies; are they balls. We don’t see them as derbies and their fans don’t either, judging by the amount of empty seats in the home end. Big Sam’s preferred 4-3-3 seems to lack width but what do I know. The only badge I have is the 10 metres one and I cheated to gain that by walking it across the little pool at Hebburn baths. The injuries to Carr and Ramage and the expected departure of the Peruvian trumpeter adds more strain on our already short numbers in defence and we could do with a few new recruits in that area before the winda closes on Friday night!

So whats been going through wiggys mind this weekend and what has he been upto…

Friday night, finished work a bit early, so I could go sort the battery out on my car, cos this way i’d have chance to get a new battery before the bank holiday weekend. Took Maddsys car round to mine, as he was in Birmingham with Karl, and Stevie was busy dropping the kids off ready for the night out :D So whilst Maddsy was on his way back, i decided to get ready!

Karl dropped Maddsy off at mine, and we buggered off so he could get ready and that. Got round to his, and ended up watching cricket for the best part of an hour, and then he went to wake his wife who was having a power nap or sommat :? lol! Got shouted/ordered/instructed to open this big green bottle in the kitchen, pour an ample amount into 2 glasses, get some ice cubes from the freezer and mix in some red bull! Yes you know it! Jagermeister and Red Bull time already, and it was safe to say that ermmm after almost putting frozen bloodworm things in maddsys drink, I could hardly speak after my first drink  I was meant to say “no more of these before we get into town” It came out as “ble vlchurys lddldv” HAHAHA! Final check on the taxi and 1 more jagermeister, and we were off into town to meet a few of the folks. First there (which is unlike him) was Wayniac, shortly followed by Ryan and his random mate and Meatball! Had a few drinks here and there, and somehow started drinking in rounds :? And when it came to my round in Wetherspoons, there was only 1 drink everyone wanted… Yep! Another Jagermeister and Red Bull! Stevie had hers without the Red bull! For some reason she prefers hers without anything in! Well i wasn’t impressed when i’d finally sorted everyones drink out, and it came to best part of £20  Altho that was for 5 double J & RB’s and a double J

Ended up in the Late Lounge again, and I fair enjoyed it! Stevie and Maddsy went home early-ish, but then Ste told Maddsy he’d make sure she got home, so he re-appeared shortly after! After randomly walking to the taxi rank with Maddsy and Wayniac (Only to walk back to the other end of town) I bumped into Meatball in Subway with Ant and one or two others. So decided it’d be beneficial for me if I was to have a subway too, and then somehow me and meatball got a taxi back to mine, and he stayed there for the night :?

For some god-forsaken reason I was awake at 8 in the morning, so took Meatball home, and then went home to die! I was really hungover, and couldn’t eat or drink anything till later in the day! I just laid on the settee watching the day of football on Sky Sports nodding off every now and again.

Sunday was another day of being lazy just like Monday was, but I decided it’d be good to get back into the gym, even tho John is away again for a week this coming Friday, but hopefully the car is fixed, and so i’ll still be able to go down to keep in the rythym. Felt a small pain in my shoulder after a few exercises, and thought nothing of it, and tried to work it off, and it seemed to work, altho once i’d left the gym, and stopped exercising, it started to hurt more and more! Got to the stage sunday night, where I could not really get to sleep or anything! Hence me doing very little monday other than watching Summerslam re-run (with a brief return of Stone Cold Steve Austin  ) and some quite good films on the random movie channels!

I wasn’t gonna put anything about this, but its something that had played on my mind all weekend, given what it should have been, and also some news I got off a mate got me into thinking about it! DOH! I’m not the most open person when it comes to how i’m feeling, and I think it’s safe to say that over this last year I’ve bottled things up, and put on this happy smiley front for people, even tho deep down (and i know people will prob slate me for it) I do still think about her, and what we could have had, even tho I’m guessing she dont give a damn about me or anything now-days! Cant stop the way I think tho does it! Also the fact another friend of mine from school, who i’ve recently got back in touch with through facebook also got married this weekend. What gets me is how one minute you’re being called someones “Soul-mate” and “I’ll tell you everything etc etc” Yet they never actually do it seems! I think thats for another blog tho!

I feel the gym is working  I’m beginning to get some self-confidence back after everything, and am feeling better about myself! Few people have commented that I look like i’m bulking out a little, and looking a bit healthier, yet Stevie said I look like i’ve lost weight :? Well I have lost half a stone since i joined the gym, due to Johns weight program lol, but i think i’ll soon start putting it back on, now i’ve got my protein shakes and things :) And the diet is starting to be turned around too!

*edit* Forgot to mention, that I have now BANNED my dad from coming round to my house to watch Newcastle! His current record this season is P2 on Setanta Drawn 2! I wanna see them win for godsake! It’s the same when I go to watch them live

Also… Lee… your email from saturday morning…

Well, if the Stags don’t win today then they want shooting…all of them! There’s no way on earth they’d be able to justify losing to Morecombe!! Baptiste has been ruled out but even so, c’mon?!! I shall wait and see!!

Morecambe 3-1 Mansfield

Morecambe recorded their first-ever Football League victory against Billy Dearden’s struggling Mansfield. Garry Thompson’s cross was fumbled into his own net by Mansfield goalkeeper Jason White before the visitors were gifted an equally soft equaliser.

Joe Lewis’ clearance struck Mansfield striker Michael Boulding and ended up in the back of the net.
However, Craig Stanley put the hosts ahead before Chris Baker extended their lead with a penalty after the break.

Whoops!!! “WE ARE GOING DOWN… I SAY WE ARE GOING DOWN” :’(

Current Mood: 3 3.

I am now officially in pain! Due to the fact that I went to the gym for the first time in 2 weeks yesterday afternoon, and started to feel a pin in my shoulder, but did the usual… “No pain, No Gain” theory! Now after a crap nights sleep, my shoulder is hurting like hell!! GOD DAMN!!

Aug 24

So after yesterdays rather successful trip into town using Maddsys motor, we got chatting last night, about how we’re gonna get mine working (alongside organising tomorrow night  ) and he decided he’d come round in the merc with some jump leads to try and get the skip started! So started watching one of my films, and got the call saying we’ll be round in 10 minutes. Popped the bonnet, and within minutes the old thing was roaring into life again. Stevie decided to ask a question, and told craig to bugger off so she could ask me. Turns out she thought tonights activities were pre-meditated, and wanted to know how long me and him had been planning on going out! So i said since me and him were texting her the other day, to which the reply was along the lines of “bollock.. I know you two well dont forget” the cheek of it the little madam!!

So left the motor running whilst me and Kieran were waving at each other in the window, and having a general conversation on the global economy, and also something interesting I read on a mates blog yesterday, about some case in America. He has a really high IQ for someone so young, which is why me and him get on so well

Anyway after leaving the car running for a bit, we decided to start de-weeding the garden. This has been an annual event since the other year, when me and Bex were stood in the doorway, and Jessica and Dylan were looking for ways of making money  Well they continued the trend this year! Crazy little buggers! Here is a picture of where the weeds ended up…

Much to my annoyance may I add! Then, once we got bored of that, they had a guided tour of my house again!! Think they counted 15 trophies around the house from certain footballing activities :D

Once they’d gone i cleaned the boot, and thought i’d best try and get the car started to see if it was still ok, and it died again!! So once maddsy had finished his brew, we decided to try and get the battery off! This proved quite difficult, but in the end it worked, and once we hooked it upto its life support machine, it showed that it was drained! So left it charging whilst I went about watching my film again, and the maddox clan went home. Then got a call from my dad, asking wether or not I was in, cos he didnt fancy walking round tesco or something with my mother, so he thought he’d come round for a brew and that! 3 times in a week he’s been round now  some sort of record hahaha!

On to something slightly different now, as i’ve tried to stay out of all the drama and everything  A website I used to frequent a hell of a lot, and met most of my friends, along with my ex, has decided that they’re gonna charge £20 membership fee for the year. It all seemed to kick off, and normally I’d have gone ahead and paid for this being as me olly and to a certain extend dave all get one quite well! (Never really sat down and got to know dave as much, but had some great chats with olly when he worked at Mini-Marquees and that), but I cant quite seem to see what I’ll benefit from this. I’ve stayed logged-off maxxd for a while, only signing in to check any pm’s or anything, because all that seems to be going off is bitching about this, and bitching about that, and what seems like far too much politics. It appears a zero tolerance of spam has suddenly descended once again, and that involves any banter, unless you’re one of the show-goers and things! (Maybe it’s not, but thats how it seems in my eyes) They started a thread asking for opinions on the membership scheme, then when people started posting alternatives, the alternatives got ripped, almost as if they’d set everything in stone, and were not willing to change it! (once again I may be wrong, just from my eyes) There also appears to be one or two people who just dont abide by rules  A while back I got asked by Olly to remove one quote from my sig, as the rules state I was only allowed 1 quote, yet one or two members on there have got massive sigs, with 2 quotes in, among other things.

Regarding me not seeing any benefit personally through the membership:

  1. IF i was to need any technical information, all I have to do is pick up the phone, and dial the bat-phone in Bahrain  He’s said on numerous occasions he’ll help me as best as he can!
  2. I seem to have lost interest in the whole cars and shows theme. I’d much rather play football, or watch football either at a ground or on telly. Thats one passion that I doubt I will ever lose.

Thats it for now on that

Last night I had this really random dream. I was playing football for Rachells, and I went in for this tackle, with 2 other people coming in from different angles, and basically broke my leg around shin height, and also snapped my ankle in two! *shock* I hate it when I get these sort of dreams, because it will stick in the back of my mind for a few games, and I’ll doubt my ability when going in for certain challenges! And its when this happens that you’re more likely to get injured or something!! GOD DAMN STUPID DREAMS!!!
