Hope everyone is well out there :)

Yesterday at work was errmmmm fun! First off Geoffrey kicked off because robert is getting some design and quotes in that are not that important, and they are starting to pile up, and adam is busy doing something for mark! So he was moaning at craig for some reason who in turn told him to “shut up and listen” :lol: Go Maddsy!!! Then late afternoon I had to learn how to do a website in an hour haha! Mark wanted a new job advertising on the website, and i’d never really done anything like that! So was kinda fun! Altho it aint worked fully, so think i’ll give olstizzle a bell later to see if he can correct the little bits for me! Just silly little things like the header aint loading properly and that :oops:

Had a pm off Lee Kirk, a lad whom i met on maxxd through fee and that! He’s living over in Bahrain! He was generally asking how i was as he aint seen me on maxxd for a while and that, and what did i think to Nobby staying at Newcastle and the turmoil that seems to follow mansfield town around everywhere :lol: So was nice to hear from him!

Last night i had a nice chat with nemma after spending a few hours on Ghost Recon! I’m really getting into this game now i know what the hell i’m doing hahaha! Watched the last hour of You Got Served and had a bit of a chat with fee, to see how her first day back at work had gone! Hope today goes better mate :) Then decided to watch CSI which is nearly always on one channel or another!

Last night was really good! Got home and chilled with a pizza for a bit, and got chatting to my mate em :) and also had a really nice chat with helen untill phil rudely kicked her off the computer! I mean how very dare he interupt an adult conversation between me and his beloved! I shall be having words on Wednesday :D
During the day me and crit were abusing maddsy, saying he wouldnt play on gear of war cos it would scare him, and give him nightmares, as he aint even taken it out of the wrapper yet :lol: and then me and crit decided that last night we were gonna try and complete an act on insane level! Only problem was i have only done it on the casual level, so i’m still crap at it hahaha! Like i told crit… if it aint a sport game, i’ll be shit at it :oops: Over the next few hours, we seemed to be doing quite well, untill we had to drive the stupid car back to base with some stupid bats who attack you in the dark! Crit was driving, and i was in charge of shining the UV light at the bats to kill them! Fuck me it’s difficult on insane level! So i’m calling upon my Gears of War buddy Lee Westwood to come round and help kick some ass on here :lol: Baring in mind i’ve still got to do Act 1 on insane! Joining the game with Crit helped me get some extra gamer points so i was happy with that :lol:

After getting pissed off with the Kryll… i plugged the computer back in, and sat on the net having a convo with emzi again, then watched the end of The Running Man, and went to bed to watch Prison Break, cos the new series starts over here on the 10th January or something! So may have to watch it again hehehe

My legs are aching! God damn why didnt i try and keep fit over christmas :lol: It all appears to have caught up with me now! :( But it’s not too bad as maddsy is hobbling around too! So i dont feel so bad!

Last night i chilled and made a few brews whilst watching US Marshalls on channel 5! Tonight i may watch The Running Man! Ancient film with Arnie in, altho i have got Coach Carter & Crank i can watch also so may end up watching them instead! Speaking to Fee this morning, and i’ve decided to try and sort out a Pro Evo night with some of the lads! This is after i had a bit of a chat with helen, and she feels now phil is living out in the sticks that he may not get invited to do stuff like Pro Evo nights and things like that! I even invited him for a drink yesterday after football, but he never got back in touch Boooo!! I am not sure wether or not i’ll get a response off Ollie tho! As i’ve tried two or three times to txt him, but never got a reply! So maybe Lee “The Cat” Westwood would like to come in as a replacement! Have some chinese and that Lee ;) I’m awaiting another Gears of War night when you’re ready too :lol:

Friday night i had 2 kinda unexpected vistors, and had a nice chat with them both. Then stayed in and watched a bit of telly!

Then stayed in and watched a bit of telly!Saturday was haircut day, and from the moment i got in, i knew what the topic of conversation would be :lol: Wiggy and a certain lady who also frequents Gossips :P Walked into the hairdressers, and totally blanked my sister :oops: Sorry sis! How the devil are you anyway? Hello Claire, Laura and Kylie :lol: if you are reading this too :P

Went to meet my mother in the coffee shop, and ended up buying both of us a drink, and had some toast, and then Lew nipped down with Owen for my mum to have him for the afternoon, whilst i took my bro to Tesco to use the coin machine! Turned out he had best part of £19 in 2’s and 1’s! With the odd pound of 5’s thrown in too!! After having some Spag Bol at my mums, and watching Owen get in a right mess trying to feed himself (pic to follow if i can be bothered) i headed over to my usual Saturday afternoon haunt to watch Soccer Saturday, and watch all the scores come in! Ended up staying longer than normal, cos i decided to watch the Liverpool Arsenal game!

Got home and watched CSI for a few hours, and Match of the day and then headed to bed

Sunday got up and went to asda to buy some new shin pads, and then headed over to Manor to play Berryhill! What a shit first half, but luckily we were only 3-2 down at half time, and thanks to their left winger i have two long stud marks on my leg! one on the inside of ym left thigh, and the other on the outside of my right thigh GRRRR, Thanks for that… and second half we came back and won 7-3! Even maddsy got a game, and good old chopper looked the part :lol: kicking anything that moved, or stumbling over into tackles HAHAHA (prob did better than me anyway! I was shit) But it did appear to be a good tactical decision from Chis! As we managed to score 5 goals with maddsy on the pitch, and hardly touching the ball hehehe

So Friday morning, and i’m sat in the house watching Sky Sports News waiting for the Surveyor to come round, whe i get a phone call from them, saying basically, “Northern Rock have put your application on hold, and the surveyor wont be coming out to see you this morning” Wounded! I think i know the reason why, and so does Geoff, so we will have to see what they say.

Atleast it gave me a good reason to give the house a good tidy, and throw out loads of junk mail and things i’ve been getting lately :lol:

Tonight people are on about going to D’s chippy in notts, but i aint sure if i fancy it or not :? Bit of a long way to go for some chips! If i want chips i have 2 half decent chippies round the corner from me :lol:

Sat and watched Mr & Mrs Smith last night, and then finished reading my Jonny Wilkinson Autobiography, inbetween getting txt messages from maddsy who was watching Rocky Balboa at the time, and this morning, he is now walking round the office quoting lines from the film, punching me and crit! only a matter of time before he lands one, and gets the surprise of his life! Most likely from Crit hehehehe

Well last night i chilled in front of the telly watching Taggart, and reading my new Jonny Wilkinson Autobiography! It really is amazing how one drop-kick in 1 game of rugby has changed the guys life! He’s younger than me (25) and had a World Cup winners medal at the age of 21! :shock: I’m about half way through the book now, and i’m really getting into it! So much so that after reading everything he wrote about that famous victory in the World Cup Final… i decided to go on play.com and buy the Final on DVD! I did have it on video, but someone got me to record her something, and i accidently wiped the video :(

We’ve reached a sad day at work! After over 10 years at this place, and numerous attempts to retire, Ted has finally called it a day! He’s a great bloke, and i wish him and margaret the best in his retirement! :lol:altho it got to the stage where there was nothing really for him to do, as Robert is slowly taking on more responsibility

YAY! Couldnt come soon enough :lol: As sad as that may seem, atleast i have something to do in the day now, other than play on the xbox, and go shopping with Fi! As great as thats been, and as lovely as it is to see her and everything, and how great the gingerbread latte’s are :D I just feel at this moent in time that i’ll be better off at work trying to keep busy other than sitting at home feeling sorry for myself.

Forgot to mention yesterday, that when me and Fi were sat chatting in Starbucks, with our eyes on some of their nice mugs, we got talking about the forthcoming car show season. I came to the conclusion that I am NOT gonna attend any of the shows this year I dont think. Mainly because I can think of better things to spend the £40 a ticket on, and then all the beer and food on top of that! When it could be put to better use in the house or something!

Sat on my dinner so thought i’d report on my morning! Not been too bad! Had quite a bit to do, so mulling my way through it all! Mainly just sending out info in response to a few requests we had over christmas! Also deleted no fewer than 3000 emails that had come in over the christmas period! Baring in mind i came in once or twice with maddsy, a) to build the kids bikes, and b) to show his mum his motorbike :lol:

Tonight i think i’ll be spending either annoying crit into playing ghost recon, and helping me get past a few bits, or playing Madden 07 :lol:! What a great life i lead! Made even more boring by one or two decisions i made the other day regards the show season and things like that :)

YAY! I have now managed to blag part of the morning off on Friday! I’ve got the Surveyors coming round to see me on Friday morning between 9 and 10, so instead of coming in at 8 like normal, then shooting off, i can have an extra long lie in :D Also today i’ve rang Mansfield District Council to sort out my Council Tax, and the kind lady is sending me a discount form, me living on my own and all that :D So it’s been a successfull day tbh!

Today had been pretty chilled. Had a bit of a lie in this morning, and sat and watched a film or two on telly.

Picked Fi up bout 2ish, and we headed over to Mcarthur Glen for some pick me up starbucks, as we were both feeling a bit under the weather about certain things, plus i had to see John to give him a dvd. Whilst we were there I bought Johnny Wilkinsons Autobiography to read, once i get round to finishing Steven Gerrards :lol: and also bought myself Madden NFL 07! Whilst at my mum and dads over christmas and the new year i started watching American Football again, and it kind of rekindled my passion for the sport. I remember when i was a young lad going to Wembley to watch The London Monarchs win the world wide verion of the Super Bowl :lol:

When in Starbucks me and fi had a nice chat about our certain things, and we got talking one thing and another! And how i have not txt someone who says they want to be my friend, just to see if they would wish me a happy new year, without me prompting them into doing so! I am not gonna go in to it anymore, but i was slightly dissapointed with the result, but to me it seems like i have been given the answer to my question by the lack of contact i’ve had with said person!

So i’m gonna try and get on with things! If i hear from them then great! If i dont then thats it! I told them to keep in touch over christmas, thus leaving the ball in their court, as i didnt wanna keep txting them like i had done in the past! Specialyl after talking to john, and he said maybe i was trying to hard to be friends, and should cool txting for a bit and that

First of all Happy New year to all my readers :lol: Hope 2007 brings you much joy, and happiness! And i hope it bring me the same things too :D

Had a great New Years Eve, surrounded by some of my great friends. As a few from maxxd will know Phil and Helen got engaged not that long ago, so they used last night as a sort of New Years /

Engagement party! During the day i went round to see my mum, and she was telling me that on sat night Owen was awake and running around at 11 at night :lol: and that he didnt wanna go to sleep in his own

cot, and as soon as she put him in her bed, he was asleep within minutes. Then next morning when my mum and lewi asked him where my dad was they got.. “nandad.. golf… car..” and also “mikey.. golf.. car” but

that soon changed to “mikey.. school.. car” Bless him

Headed over to phils about 6:50, and not long into the journey, i had this idiot in an Astra tail-gating me! Which annoyed me! Then once i got past Dukeries Garden Centre, he turned off, and it was not long

after i found out it was Tibbzy :lol:

Got over to phils, and Liam showed me what he got for christmas and things like that, and it wasn’t long before we were tucking into some snap. People there includced, Sarah B, Nez, Me, Fee, Tibbzy, Helens

Sister and partner, and her parents.

Helen had made a lovely Chicken Tikka Curry, and i was really really shocked when i saw phil tucking into this!!! In the year or so we’ve been having Pro Evo & Chinese nights, phil has never touched anything

foreign :lol: so i was more than amazed at the transformation Helen has made to phils life :)

Whilst some of us were finishing our food, Tibbzy started playing Liam at Fifa 07 on the PS2, and lost in the first half, and nez got beat in the second half by Liam! So then me and Phil took over, and i beat

a combination of him and Liam 5-3 :D Altho i do feel a little bad for battering them both in their own living room HAHAHA

After that Buzz came out, and phil had blatently been playing it on his own or sommat, and remembering the answers, cos he was good at it, and i think him and helen ended up winning. Not long after Cammy

(aged 4) and Liam (6?) battered Tibbzy and Nez on the General Knowledge Buzz game! Cammy is a genius child :lol: Everytime he had to answer it seemed to be right HAHAHA. Then the Singstar Superstar

came out, and Sarah and Helen were busy outsinging everyone, so me and tibbzy had a go for shits and giggles, and i beat him, singing The Killers, and then me and Tibbzy took on Sarah B and Helen… and

WON! Imagine that! They were gutted, and cried into their beers.

Midnight came and went, and we decided we’d have Macdees breakfast at 8, so Tibbz set his alarm for 8, and i think we went to sleep around 4! I drove us to macdees in the morning, and we spent best

part of £15, even tho Tibbzy promised to buy everyone breakfast if i drove… i ended up paying about 7 quid towards it… Hope you enjoyed your engagement gift phil and helen :lol:

Dropped Fee off at her house, and then headed over to my mums to watch football! The Newcastle Man United game, was one of the best games i’ve seen in the Premiership for a long time! I thought the

Newcastle defence, containing 3 under 21 players, 2 of which have about 5 games between them, played exceptional. I think a 2-2 draw was about right, and all 4 goals were proper crackers!

What a way to see in the New Year at st. James’s Park! Specially when i didnt really give the team much chance! Expecting Man Utd to steam roll them, and get 3 or 4 without reply, so for that performance

i’m a really chuffed Geordie :D

Tonight is just chilling, and watching Monty Python’s “Life of Brian” I love the film. Tomorrow i’ve gotta nip and see John and drop something off for him, so may buy Call of Duty 3, and maybe another new

t-shirt or something, and this time i WILL buy fee Starbucks, as she’s paid both previous times!
