Feeling weak

Grrr I’m still not over this bloody cold! This is just about a whole week I’ve had it now, as I had the sore throat from about Wednesday last week, and it seemed to get worse from then on.  I’ve still got the bunged nose, that has a tendency to get really really snotty with next to no warning.  Today I’ll admit to feeling worse than I have done for 2 or 3 days.  Think it’s in part to not managing to get to sleep till gone 11 last night, and being up at half 6 to go and help the lads in the workshop for a bit.  That with very little food from the night before till 1pm, when I finally admitted defeat and headed upto ASDA meant I was feeling quite weak too.  Suppose still feeling very sore from the gym Monday night hasn’t helped either haha!

Seems Newcastle now have a permanent manager in the name of Chris Hughton, who has done a decent job as Caretaker, but wether or not he’s permanent manager material I guess we will find out over the next year or how ever long his contract is.  Also it appears that rather than sell the club, Mr Ashley is now gonna sell the name of the stadium to the highest bidder, which as you can imagine has caused uproar amongst the fans saying it’s yet another in a long line of bad decisions since he brought the club! It’s been called St James’ Park for a hell of a long time (since 1892 the article tells me)  Also he’s gonna pump £20 miilion in to the club in an attempt to get us back into the Premier League, thus making us a more attractive option for any rich Sheiks out there in a year or so.  Why didn’t he sort a permanent manager back in the close season, and invest the £20 million THEN rather than now.  Guess only time will tell what goes on up there!

    Preparation H Park?
    The Vagasil Stadium?

I believe the name Roker Park has been available for some time, as well.

    ;-)

I hope you feel better soon, and don’t have the nasty Swine Flu. Lots of rest, drink lots of water, and keep your fever down.

Funny guy Mr 6k :p Hopefully he’ll realise the error in his actions BEFORE he goes ahead and has it renamed

Melissa – I’m getting fed up of drinking water  Is there anything about over-hydrating?

I do hope that your cold doesn’t travel on the Internet. I’ve had mine for a few days now and it sucks, I won’t list the symptoms, too many to mention, though my legs are buckling under from the aches and pains but I will say when I sneeze in public everyone thinks I have swine flu. I don’t – honest!

Yeah thats pretty much how I felt Paul. It’s been suggested it may even have been Swine Flu!! Still not been to the Doctors, and I’m stiil not 100% almost 2 weeks later :?
