For a long time now I’ve been hiding away from a certain someone when it came to nights out.  This has meant I’ve missed 2 of Carolyn’s birthdays and numerous nights out with John and all them lot.  This weekend I just thought “F@#k It” and bit the bullet, thinking I can’t stay in forever knowing she’d be down Mansfield or something.  In the end a good night was had by all I think.

I am really gutted about one thing this weekend.  My dad’s old uni mate, and our Lewi’s Godfather, quite amusingly going by the same name, was coming up to Nottingham from his home down in Portsmouth or around that area.  We’d not seen him or his wife Theresa since about 1994 when we went on a holiday to the Isle of Wight, and we stayed with them for a night.  He came up for the 25th reunion at Nottingham University where the pair of them studied hard (Or so they told me)  The most annoying part, apart from not seeing Lewis this weekend, was the fact he came up in his completely rebuilt E-Type Jaguar! Ever since my dad mentioned he was doing this project I’ve wanted to see it or even sit in it, so imagine how jealous I was to be told my dad had been out in it!! Grrr meanwhile I was at football, and by the time I’d finished they were heading off out for a meal :(   Hoping that I can get in touch with him, and get him to email me loads of info about his car, and some pics.  He’s started another E-Type project according to my mum, so I’d love to be able to put some progress pictures up on here.  I’m very interested, not sure about any of my regular readers tho hmmmmm! What say you people?  As you can imagine I spent the rest of my Friday evening sulking with the telly on in the background whilst having a conversation or two online.

Was the usual Saturday morning, altho we were a bit later into town, and were stuck behind the breakfast rush, which meant I had to have a fried egg rather than scrambled! I almost felt like complaining, but Amy who works there would have told me to shut up and pay for my own breakfast so I’ve learnt at times it’s better to keep quiet haha!  Did a bit of bargain hunting, and got myself a summer jacket, which I’ve not really possessed in years, a new top from River Island and some football gear.  Later on I ended up playing on Tiger Woods for a few rounds, and showing my mum how to go on with her new Jillian Michael’s fitness game for the Wii! I ended up aching like hell, with sweat dripping everywhere.  Safe to say I didn’t smell the freshest either.  Our Heather took my mother wedding dress shopping at a place in Ollerton I think it was, and she had a few ideas of what she wanted and what she didn’t want.  Seems there was another girl there trying them on too, so the pair of them modeled certain stuff together, complimenting each other on their choices etc (You know the sort of thing girls do wedding dress shopping)   Quick shower sorted that out and I nicked some of our Stefs gel before heading home.

Was in the bath when John text to ask if I was being a girl and staying in for the night, or manning up and heading into Mansfield.  A few texts changed hands, before he said “Oh by the way mate, Caz is out with Bex”  Must admit my heart kinda went “Oh fuck” but then I just replied “Fuck it mate, I’m fed up of hiding when I know she’s out down Mansfield with Caz I’M OUT!”  Met up in 53 with John and Day, and saw quite a few people throughout the night that I’d not seen for years, including our Lewi’s mates Muff and Tom, and our Stefs mate Bucko.  Was great to get compliments from one or two old mates about bulking up and asking whether I go to the gym often enough! Bit of an ego boost that I think I may have needed.  Anyway was a great night, including Day getting asked for ID (He’s 24) and then the same bloke scrutinizing his money making sure it’s not a fake note or not!  Bumped into Webbo in the queue for The Late Lounge, and we got talking bout our trip to Kavos back in 1998/1999 sometime, and how Ryan was sleep-talking and shouting “No Denzel” He was also complimentary to the physique asking who had painted my top on  What came next was a bit of a surprise.  His words were something along the lines of “We’re good mates me and you Tig (previous nickname) I think the fact we’re both UGLY bastards means we get on so well.” I was looking round hoping no-one had heard that haha!

It was as inevitable as hell, that I would bump into Bex at one point in the night, and it was when we were all leaving.  I was surprised that she even acknowledged me given previous meetings in town.  John thinks she’s another impressed with the increase in bulk in the last 2 years HAHAHA!  Called home via McDonalds, and we saw Ash from Maxxd’s car parked in the car-park, so when he asked if he could take our order the 3 of us rather childishly shouted “Is that Ash from Friday football on Maxxd?” He wasn’t too impressed, as we saw when we got to the window!  By the time I’d dropped them off it was gone half 2.

Went round to my mum and dads and text John and Bagi for a bit Bagi was feeling a little “Fluffy” as he said! Then he told me it was his code word for a hangover.  I was joking with John that she actuallty spoke to me, and he said maybe she liked the muscles mate! haha.  I felt absolutley whacked, so spent the rest of the sunday watching telly curled up in a ball, and earning my 300 EC drops and earning some clicks through Adgitize! Last months Adgitize was down on the month before, due to me not doing as much clicking on Blogexplosion or Easyhits4u, and not getting as many blogs posted – Still earnt $12.24 which you can’t grumble at.  Lets hope this month is a better one.

Monday night was chest night in the gym, and I had my new gym gloves on with the extra bit of padding in the palms, and it was so much better.  Normally after the first set the weights end up a little slippy in your hand, but there was no chance of anything going anywhere now.  I think I’m now seeing the results of this Anabolic protein, and it’s starting to look good.  So much so that I have half a 2.2kg tub left, and John has bought me some more! Thats the best part of 2 months worth for me now, which should see me to the end of the summer.  Lets see what changes that can bring then.  Last night I decided to go for a bit of a run whiklst waiting for our back session, so straight from work I headed to the gym, and hit the treadmill. It’s a great way to train cardio and lose the annoyingly stubborn fat around my six-pack, so I’m gonna try and run 3 miles as often as I can, and slowly try and bring my time down.  Last night I sprinted for 0.25 miles then slowed the pace right down for 0.25 miles and took it in turns that way, and I felt great afterwards, if not a little dizzy again.  Half an hour well spent tho.  This morning I’m now paying for it tho, as my legs and whole upper torso are aching like a bugger! One good thing isin the last 2 months or so I’ve seen my ody fat reading shoot down from 19.8% to 13.3%  This is partly due to a change in diet (at home anyway) and drinking loads more water then I used to.  I’m not sure if the scales lied, so we’ll see when it comes to measuring ourselves in 2 weeks, just before John goes to Napa! I was surprised and pleased with the reading even if it’s not true haha!
