Been a while since I last put a meaningful blog post on here, and I do apologise. Guess having one of the craziest sleeping patterns this last week has just sent me almost careering over the edge. For some reason if I go to bed early, say 9pm, I’ll wake up at half 11, nod back off after 20 minutes of tossing and turning, then I’ll be awake again bout 1 / half 1ish, and the same around 3. Once it gets to ha;f 5 in the morning, I can’t seem to get back to sleep. Lets hope these sleeping tablets I’ve heard of via my mother work (Won’t know till I get my hands on them in about 2 weeks tho lol)
Tuesday night I was too knackered to even contemplate the gym, not that I’d have been able to lift much anyway, as both my chest and arms felt like lead, so I ended up chilling out, hoping to sleep early, but to no avail. Wednesday seemed to drag like hell, but I got a text off John saying he was off work, and so we could fit a gym session in before the England game that night. Was the first session we’d had on the shoulders for a while, and given that we were still aching badly from Mondays session, I’m surprised we were able to lift anything at all haha! Every rep seemed to drain all my energy, but I still managed to complete them all. The game was pretty much as predicted. 11 men behind the ball for Andorra as they try and keep the score as respectable as they can. 6-0 it finished in the end, but I can’t help but think it could and maybe should have been more. Not to complain tho, as 10 goals scored in 2 internationals with non conceded, means we’re sitting pretty 10 points clear at the top of our group
Friday was adventure day again. This time I was out of the office pretty much all day. I was to head to Tetbury, which is a fair way away. Luck would have it that the roads were pretty clear on the way down. Left bout 11:20 and arrived there about 14:50. By 15:00 this delivery man was back on his way. Luckily the Sat-Nav is a bit of a clever bugger, and warned me when I got to junction 4 on the M4 that 2 junctions ahead there was queues, and the board told me to expect 50 minute delays. The last thing I wanted on a Friday afternoon was to be stuck in traffic for 50bloody minutes. Said I wanted to avoid that area, and it took me on a proper random route then. Through many villages and plenty of round-abouts till I re-joined the M42. All the way from the M42 was speed restrictions. Got back to Maddsys bout 18:45! Best part of 7 and a bit hours later I was almost home. 7 hours of them spent in the car! Wonder where my next adventure will take me.
My Saturday morning was thrown out of sync with the addition of someone. As my mum and dad were going away around dinner-time, and my dad wasn’t golfing, he decided to join us for breakfast. This meant I couldn’t randomly thrown things into my mums shopping basket like I normally do hehe! Anyay once he’d had his breakfast he was on a mission to get back to the car as always, so me and my mum had a bit of a walk around Mansfield and then did a bit of food shopping before I dropped her off home, and wished her a nice holiday. Once I’d gotten back home I had a really really lazy weekend. I just ended up laying on the sofa dropping to sleep whilst watching what ever was on the random tv channels at the time. Altho on Sunday I did catch 3 little “knock-a-door-runners” Sunday afternoon. The leader of the gang appeared to be about 2 and a half, and he was in cahoots with his older brother and sister. I was even told by the gang-leader to “Go-Away as this was not my house” Atleast they didn’t post weeds through my letterbox like previously!
Off to the gym again tonight, luckily John has the day off, cos I hate going home, and waiting around till half 6 before heading off the the gym. Prefer getting home, changed and straight out the door. Lets see how bad I ache tomorrow. Hopefully earnt another $7 cashing-out loads of my Entrecard credits.

The kids sound like my neighbor’s kids. I caught them a couple of times with binoculars looking into my windows and a few times straight out looking in the window with their hands cupped and pressed against the glass. I guess you have to give some leeway for little ones..
Thats crazy. Luckily I’ve worked with their dad for 12 years now
Or I’d be less than impressed.
