Caffeine Overdose!

Been a very random this weekend this weekend thats for sure.  One which will stick in my mind for a while thats for sure.  Earlier in the week I’d emailed Bagi asking him if he fancied heading down Chesterfield way one Saturday in July, for him to ring me later that evening, to say he’d mentioned it to Butler, and they’d agreed to go out that coming Saturday.  no messing around with them pair (until it comes to getting ready for a night out, but I maybe more about that later)

Friday evenings football saw a return of “Mr Fair-weather”.  Lee Taylor a.k.a. Lee Westwood has rarely been seen to grace the astro-turf at Manor Sports Complex unless he’s guaranteed a whole hour of un-interrupted sunshine haha!  It was one of the best games I’s played in for a while, with 2 awesome keepers in Lee and Coop frustrating both teams with some pretty awesome saves.  I got a little frustrated that Coop kept saving my shots, whilst at the other end, I kept getting little deflections on loads of shots heading towards Lee, but he did well to keep them out! The game turned in our favour, with a trade-mark Wiggy Header that Smithy ran onto and slotted away.  Lee was appauled at my lack of defensive play as the game went on, but I soon finally got onto the score sheet! We managed to win 7-6! Get in!  Called into the chinese to pick-up the food I’d pre-ordered before I set off to football and then chilled out enjoying a few bottles of Stella and my food, whilst watching a film or two on DVD.

Managed to have a lie in Saturday morning for the first time in a while, and then proceeded to spend most of the day just messing about the house.  I had the best intentions of nipping into Mansfield and getting myself a new top to wear down Chesterfield, but couldn’t muster up the energy or will-power to do so.  By the time I’d decided to get of the sofa and actually do something the time was close to 5pm.  Headed over to my mum and dads for a shower, and our Lew was busy attacking the back garden, which was a bit of a jungle to say the least.  Headed over to get Bagi, and when he got in the car his first words were “Guess where Butler is?” Turned out he was still cleaning busses down in their garage.  Whilst he was getting ready we headed off to the Countryman with his missus Laura where we had a quick pint, before we were on our way down the M1 for a junction.  Got parked up and everything and went into our first bar of many.  As soon as we walked in, I bumped into two lads from the year above me at school.  I’d known Micky Clarke for many many years now, and he was down there with Ex-Mansfield Town player Michael Sisson, who I know quite well from Jo Whit.  Had a walk round and the drink tally started adding up, with Bagi seemingly content just to drink Jagermeister and Red Bull ALL NIGHT! Think the grand total must have been somewhere around 15 or 16 in the night. No wonder we had the conversation we did on the Sunday.  Little was I aware at how much Coca-Cola I’d been drinking and topped off with 2 glasses of Red Bull with ice, it was safe to say I was “Buzzing” Mentally I was wide awake, but physically I was shattered.  Ended up chatting to some people Bagi works with, and this 19 year old asked me to sample how smooth her legs were :? Not one to turn it down I ran my hand up and down her leg, maybe a little to high up hehe! But she was that drunk she really didn’t care!!  The drinks seemed to hit the pair of them once we got outside the club about 2ish.  Having been pulled in Notts last year for “Pulling away from the lights too excessivly” I decided to be a little more cautious with a Police Car following me from the car-park.  Once I’d hit the A617 tho he’d turned off as something else had taken his attention PHEW!!  Got home around 3ish and got into bed, and tried to fall asleep, but my mind wouldn’t switch off, so I decide to watch a DVD for a bit, before I managed to nod off.

Woke about 4-ish tho with stomach cramps, and my stomach was rumbling like hell! I was wishing I’d gotten some food before I went home.  Still awake I headed to McDonalds at 6 in the morning.  Poor ash was on nights and he wondered what the hell I was doing there at that time.  Fell asleep watching the 2nd Matrix film for 2 hours, before finding myself wide awake booooo! Got a call from Crit around half 11 asking if I didn’t mind going to help him with a few prints, so I did that then headed to my parents who’d gotten back off their hols the night before.  Watched the British Grand Prix and then me and our Hev laughed at my dad trying to play Tiger Woods golf on the Wii.   Once he’d completed a round, he decided to take me on in a game of his choice.  He was quickly 2 shots up after fluking a birdie as I was struggling to chip, but by the end of the 9th hole, when he gave up I was 6 shots ahead.  I told it him how it was “I dont come into YOUR world armed with a set of golf clubs thinking I can beat you, so don’t come into my gaming world trying to beat me” HAHAHA!  CarolAnne said I was very mean not letting him win on Fathers Day of all days, but hey-ho.  Spent the rest of the evening chilling out, until I admitted defeat around 10pm.  With the remaining half a sleeping pill I got off my Grandma when I went to visit last week, I managed to sleep right through till 7:45 when my alarm went off! Smash is sometimes a great source of random info, and here’s a great news article he came up with the other day from the Dailymail website.  I think it’s only a picture of my brother Stef trying to fish

A male orangutan, clinging precariously to overhanging branches, flails the water with a pole, trying desperately to spear a passing fish.

It is the first time one has been seen using a tool to hunt.

The extraordinary image, a world exclusive, was taken in Borneo on the island of Kaja, where apes are rehabilitated into the wild after being rescued from zoos, private homes or even butchers’ shops.
