So last nights Champions League game between Barcelona and Chelsea was pretty mundane given recent games between the two, and also the last 2 games Chelsea played in this competition against the Scousers.  I think Chelsea will be happy that their bullying tactics on the smaller more technically superior players like Xavi, Messi and Iniesta worked a treat and it disrupted their usual flowing football.  I still think they’ll have enough to go to the Bridge and triumph and hopefully set up a re-run of Arsenal vs Barcelona the other year.  Or maybe Man Utd vs Barcelona is the match the football purists would be purring over.  Specially given the ease on the eye during the inter-changing of positions that will be going on with the likes of Messi, Henry, Rooney and Ronaldo all gracing the same pitch in Rome.  I’m gutted that Chelsea didn’t get beat comprehensivley and that it didn’t piss it down, given two people from WORK were sat in the heavens at the Camp Nou, with one of them being given a special pass for the night

Last night Bagi phoned me and told me that his birthday weekend is now sorted.  6th June we’re heading upto Newcastle for a night out.  So far there is 5 of us, Me, Bagi, Butler, Wayniac and Jim.  We’ve been told we’re lucky to get a hotel/guesthouse given the events going on in the area that weekend.  On the Friday and Saturday night at the Newcastle Metro Radio Arena Girls Aloud are performing! GET IN.  I’m gonna try and sneak my way back stage I reckon    Should be a load of women out after that then hehehe!

Went to the gym last night, and got chatting to Deano about Forest staying up, and how the Kirkby lads would be loving heading upto the toon next season for the weekend to watch the game (I’m writing us off already  ) and he said he really didn’t wanna see us go down.  John showed his face and has quickly gained the nickname, “That stomach and legs man” God damn I’m aching this morning.
