Christmas with Wiggy…

Well what can I say! My festive holidays started in a very relaxing mood, and from around New Years Eve went from crazy to downright out of this world MAD! I think this is going to be a very long blog post, so make sure you have plenty of cookies (I’ve recently found Marks & Spencer do some amazing Oatmeal cookies, Thanks mum  ) and a nice hot drink before even thinking about settling down to read this :D

Would this judge make you behave?

Made me wonder about breaking the law anytime soon anyway

A young driving offender has been told he faces the prospect of a jail shower “with the gorillas in the mist” if he continues to break the law.

Sydney Magistrate Brian Maloney gave 19-year-old Cody Heap a stark warning about jail life in an attempt to scare the youth into good behaviour.

“You’ll find big, ugly, hairy, strong men (in jail) who’ve got faces only a mother could love that will pay a lot of attention to you – and your anatomy,” the magistrate said.

Heap appeared at the city’s Downing Centre Court charged with driving without a licence, failing to stop at a police alcohol check point and driving dangerously.

It was his third time before the courts for driving offences – prompting the magistrate’s warning he would be jailed next time.

The teen was banned from driving until 2013, placed on a 12-month good behaviour bond and ordered to perform 150 hours community work.

But the magistrate was not the only one exasperated by the teenager’s recklessness.

Sydney’s Daily Telegraph was inundated with comments from readers after the newspaper published a photo of the baby-faced offender flashing a grin and two thumbs up.

The paper’s editorial backed the magistrate, saying his comments were “a vision in clarity” and gave the teenager “a reality check of his future”.

“We can only hope this strategy helps. Hope it ends the slaughter of young innocents on the roads through stupidity,” the paper said.

Ameobi in messy ‘burglary’

I just got sent this news story from the gaffer at work by email, and for some reason thought about “Dave from Newcastle” (Fans of I’m on Setanta Sports will understand)

Newcastle United striker Shola Ameobi called the police to report a burglary at his home before realising it was just very messy.

The 27-year-old thought thieves had broken in to his £500,000 house in the city’s Jesmond district.

He phoned police and detailed several items that were missing. A police source told the Daily Mirror: “We were told thieves had taken a number of things, the most important one being the chequebook.

“Given what soccer stars earn, that was obviously a matter of great concern.”

However, Ameobi subsequently admitted his mistake and found the ‘stolen’ items amid household clutter.

“We got a call back saying nothing was missing after all,” said the source. “Perhaps he had had a party and the place just looked as if it had been burgled.”

A police spokesman confirmed: “We received a report of a theft from a house in Jesmond but it appears to have been a genuine misunderstanding.”

Ameobi, who has been a Newcastle player since 2000, has scored three goals in 14 Premier League games this season.

My New Addictions…

I’ve had Call of Duty 5 for a while now, and really enjoyed playing the one before online, but never tried with this one! ANyway I was on campaign mode the other day, when Wayniac invited me into an online game along with Daz! Since then I’ve been on it quite alot, not even playing with the people on my friends list! I just enjoy jumping into a game of Headquarters and running around with a kill:death ratio in negative figures

The second thing is something I’d seen on a blog in the past, but never really checked it out, until Troy sent me a message on msn alerting me to it! I’m on Setanta Sports is funny as fuck! The funniest one I think is one I’ve attached below!

Back to work…

Well the post about the last 2 weeks can wait  Yesterday was the first day back at work, and it’s fair to say I quite enjoyed it! I was aching a bit from playing football on a frozen pitch the day before, but I was busy enough right up until I had to bugger off to the Dentist! I always hate these trips, and she numbed my face ready to extract the tooth where the abcess grew before Christmas, and then I went down to the waiting room and chilled out watching Foyles War on their 1980′s style colour TV.  Had the tooth extracted, and I could feel her pulling and proding, without the pain, and then she was done.  My face was numb for the rest of the day! Got home feeling sorry for myself as usual, and decided to partake in my new addiction.  Was sat on Call of Duty online for a few hours, before deciding to nip to the shop so I can fill up the freezer and fridge with bits and bobs.  Went to bed having had half a packet of Jaffa Cakes and that was all, as my mouth was still numb and in a little pain, so some Paracetemol and Lucozade did the trick, and I laid in bed watching “Surviving Gazza” Such a shame that he really don’t know whats going on anymore, and he’s pretty much turned his youngest son against him for not being there! The guy was a Genius on the football pitch which I’m sure so many people will agree on with me, but there was always the violent image behind closed doors, that Cheryl told us about last night.  Now he’s not got his football he just seems like a lost soul, who keeps checking in and out of Rehab! Maanaged to get very little sleep, and so now I’m feeling groggy as I’ve got feeling back in the side of my face and that :(
