Well what can I say! My festive holidays started in a very relaxing mood, and from around New Years Eve went from crazy to downright out of this world MAD! I think this is going to be a very long blog post, so make sure you have plenty of cookies (I’ve recently found Marks & Spencer do some amazing Oatmeal cookies, Thanks mum 
) and a nice hot drink before even thinking about settling down to read this 
Well the first weekend of my holidays, we didn’t have a game, so rather than be bored in the house, I saw Archer were playing against The Countrymen, so went and watched that, knowing I knew players from both teams. The unmistakable figure and voice of Andy Draper boomed around the pitch before I could tell who else was playing Countrymen ended up winning 4-1 or something, so I headed over to my mums for my Sunday Dinner (as per usual hehe)! The time before Xmas I did very little if I’m honest apart from trying to get further on Call of Duty, but for some reason I just can’t seem to defeat this bastard Sniper on veteran mode! Grrrrrrrr 
I did manage over the festive period to watch all 4 seasons of Prison Break again! OR at least as far into Season 4 as I have got haha! Watched a hell of a lot of DVD’s too!
Xmas eve, I woke up and headed over to Asda to get myself and my parents some beer, and due to me going early enough it was quite pleasant! I was in, purchased 6 cases of beer, and out in about 10 minutes if that! Headed over to my dads for a bit to drop off their beer, and then headed off home just after dinner. I was gonna go out and meet John in town for a bit early evening, but after having one or two beers during the afternoon, I fell asleep on the sofa, and by the time I’d woken up I really couldn’t be bothered to get ready and then walk into town 
So i just chilled out with a few beers, Chinese and then headed to bed! Really wasn’t in the festive mood anyway 
Woke up about 9 Xmas Day morning, and got ready and headed over to my mum and dads for some breakfast! Everything was like a military operation, and my dad had his alarm set for when to put the Roast Spuds on, when the Turkey needs to go in etc! All very well done, meanwhile I dropped our Stef off at his mates and then sank back in the chair and watched lots of the crap thats usually on at Christmas! Bout an hour before dinner Heather and Mike turned up, and our Stef returned, so it was a full house, and our Stef decided to bring his XBOX down, and challenge someone to a game on FIFA 09! Our Lew beat him about 3 or 4-0, so he went into super huff mode, and buggered off, whilst I proceeded to rip Lew apart 7-0 then 4-0 and 3-0! Not bad to say I ain’t played on FIFA for god knows how long, and I’ve not even played Pro Evo since we used to have Pro-Evo nights all that time ago! Mike decided he wanted beating, so all of a sudden, my mum and dads were watching too, and all supporting THAT Mike! So I did the honorable thing… and battered him good and proper! Watched Wallace and Gromit and the Curse of the Were-Rabbit, which according to Heather is on EVERY YEAR! Altho I’m sure this is the first year this one was on, and then we ended up with Dr Who on, before watching Eastenders! Headed home after eating NON-STOP for most of the day still feeling hungry, so chilled out with a film on eating some of the biscuits I got as presents :s
Woke up at some point on Boxing day still hungry, and so continued eating my way through my Xmas goodies, Sat online with Sky Sports Centre open watching the updates in the Newcastle match, but by half-time I’d given up, and was getting ready to head over to my sisters house for tea! We were 1-0 down last I heard and it was bloody Ryan Taylor who scored in something like his 4th consecutive game against us! Found out from our Lew once I got to our Heathers that it finished 2-1! Emile Heskey powering through with the defender alongside him, and then “falling gracefully” in the box, resulting in Bassong I think it was being sent off! Going by that we won a penalty late on, and SHOULD have had a 2nd penalty but nothing ever seems to go right for us, and it was turned down! Fell over Mikes beer when I got to the side door, which for some reason was left on the step to keep cool! We were all well fed, and we were joking about our Lewi nicking any spare bits of food, and for some reason he asked me if I carry a mirror round with me all the time, cos he thinks I’m very vain Went home to watch some more of the fantastic Christmas TV with a few beers.
Didn’t get up to much for a few days, and I even forgot that we were playing Liverpool at home on the 28th, until my mother text me and said “what a dreadful result that was” So I headed to my computer and found out we’d been soundly beat, so I was in a sulking mood all day! Didn’t even watch Match of the Day I’m afraid 6000! Its one of them results I just wanna forget and get out of my system! When a side win 5-1 and the opposition goalkeeper is Man of the Match it says something about the defeated team!
New Years Eve I wasn’t upto much, so headed over to the Castlewood via picking Bagi up, for a beer with him, Moorey and one or two more of the footy lads, who had finished work, and had a laugh with Jake being the little terror that he is! And just on my way home I got a text from John asking if I fancied heading off to the gym for an hour, as soon as possible! Meant flying home, filling up with some petrol, and then heading off to the gym, so told him I’d be there about half 4! And I was bang on time! Had a session on the shoulders, and we got chatting bout what I was upto tonight, and in the end I agreed to picking him, Caz, Day and Orwin up from the Red in town, and taking them, originally to Wills house for an hour, and then on to the Badger Box near Johns house. But by the time I’d picked the drunken 4-sum up it was around 10:45 so we headed straight for the Badger, and Caz and them twisted my arm into staying with them to see in the New Year! Was funny watching Dougie and John dancing like a pair of pissed twats once wed seen the New Year in, as the videos show (Will upload them when I get the chance) Stayed in there till about 1ish, and then dropped John and Caz off at her house, via Days! Made a Tenner from it and had a few free drinks of Coke, so all in all quite a profitable night
Ended up heading to bed about 5am after I’d got chatting to a few people online. Didn’t manage to sleep for long till I was wide awake, so I headed off to my mums for New Years dinner like the previous years, and then headed off to what can only be described as one of the most randomest house parties I’ve had the pleasure of attending. Tibbzy brought his mate Joe and his gf along with him. The more Joe kept getting drunk the livelier he was, and he was coming out with some right random stories! Kirsty’s sister hates the word CUNT, and people kept forgetting that, well Joe mainly, and he got hit with the remote a good few times! Tibbzy was making his usual concoctions with various bits of alcohol, and one certain time was what changed the night! He made Joe’s missus a drink, and she’s almost been sedated all night uptill she’d had a sip or two of this drink! Suddenly she wouldn’t stop talking, and Troy is in possession of a 55 minute video from that moment on, of Joe and his missus bladdered! I need to try and steal it off him, and get it uploaded! Pure comedy gold. Me and Troy were left along with Tibbzy and Leann who were both staying at Kirsty’s so me and the “social hub” decided to make ourselves scarce as Jay was in for a telling off from Kirsty
Nipped into work for half an hour on the friday, but it was so bloody cold, that I turned the heaters on, and left!! To find myself spending the majority of the weekend playing COD 5 online 
We played against Cookies lot on sunday, and last season Ritz Rangers did the double over us (Well everyone BUT The Red did) so I was looking for a little revenge! We managed to get it with a hard fought 2-1 win! Troy “The Voyeur – Social Hub” came to watch with his Chelsea coat on, looking evermore like “Big Phil”!!
Brads Match Report..
Our unbeaten run now stands at 7, and we have now won 6 out of the last 7 games thanks to a committed performance today.
This game was nearly going to be cancelled for a second time as the ref was looking to call it off over a frozen pitch, however the game was eventually allowed to play.
Jock still suspended, was replaced by Brad and there were recalls back to the team for Nick and Scotty. Bud kept his place upfront and Scotty started on the wing.
The game kicked off and Ritz Rangers looked to control early on, however our defence stood firm and Rob was’nt properly tested in the first half. we started to get a little rythem going and a great ball by Scotty was superbly turned on by Winty who smashed home.
This seemed to knock the turkey stuffing out of a Ritz team that are flying high 2 division above us, and as bud beat the away goalie to latch on the end of another great pass, the keeper had no choice but to bring him down. Penalty!
Bud stepped up but was denied by a great save, however Willa was following in and headed the rebound in the back of the net.
For some strange reason we have so for missed all 3 of the penalties awarded to us this season, think its time for WIGGY to have ago! – You know this makes sense Bradshaw!!

Col and Maddsy did the halftime talk as Brad was playing, and i was disappointed to hear a negative team talk. But i suppose they were just trying to get their point across, so no harm done.
We knew Ritz Rangers would be pushing up and looking for a way back into this cup-tie and they did just that, Ritz applied the pressure for most of the 2nd half by keeping at least 3 players upfront, but we dug deep and even had afew chances of our own, mainly from long-range and mainly going high and wide but least we not afraid to have a pop at goal these days.
Ritz made it a nervy last 10 minutes for the Home team as they grabbed a goal back due to poor marking.
Ritz threw everything at us but it was to be RandK’s day.
A great performance today boys, although we have played better football, today was about grinding out a result and we did just that.
MOM – Winty, chosen by Col. A good game today for our leading goalscorer but the turn that he did to create space for his goal would not have been out of place in the premier league. Well done pal.

Chilled out for the rest of the Sunday, getting more and more nervous about my pending trip to the dentist! Thats it really! My xmas time off consisted of Call of Duty online, and lots of films / TV Shows, with 2 random nights thrown in!
