Back to the gym…

So here’s a little taster of what I’ve been upto

Well last Friday night I was feeling too bunged up with this bastard cold to run about for an hour getting frustrated with certain people whilst trying to play football, so once I got in from work, I thought fuck it, and  starts watching the Bourne Trilogy.  Watched the first one, and was part way through the 2nd when our Lewi rang me asking for a favour.  He wanted a lift from Rainworth to Ravenshead so he could meet Tom, and then head back to Rainworth.  I had been running the car on fumes, but agreed to take him, but I needed to fill up with petrol first.  I was quite impressed that after using my 5p off a litre coupon @ Tesco it turned out around 88p per Litre, and I managed to fill the Teg up on about £35 :D RESULT!!

Real-life Super Mario Kart

Was viewing a few Entrecard blogs, and I came across this piss funny video thanks to  Steven Humour over HERE! And I thought I’d stick it on here  God I used to love playing Mario. Maybe it’s a sign to get a Wii to go next to my PS2 and XBOX 340, and when I can afford it I’ll get a PS 3 for the next Metal Gear Solid game

It’s all about football knowledge..

And I’ve proved this last month that I know more than Maddsy  The scary thing is looking at the finale placings for the month Crit is almost as good at predicting football results as me    Basically Carol brought a sheet in which the 3 of us filled in, and we became part of the Shirebrook part of the league, with the winner of that section getting a free go next month.  We filled in our football predictions and you get 1 point for a correct outcome and 4 for a perfect result! The table below shows how we went on

Have a go Heroes!! And more…

My mum has told me a story that has made me and my dad chuckle to ourselves.  According to the source of this story it happened about 2 weeks ago, but was only told to my mum a few days ago.  Here goes…  Our stef and Malc were out in the van on one Bin Cleaning route, and I think it was in Daybrook or something, and Our stef of all people decided that this youth looked a bit dodgy, with his hoody on and a scarf over his face.  Anyway our Stef claims that he was watching him in the wing mirror of the van, and saw him snatch some girls bag, so our stef being the hero that he is decided to give chase, along with our Malc, as this woman was quite upset due to her work takings being in the bag or something! Typically the 2 have a go heroes left the van with the keys and their own takings in. My mum was saying, “but what if there was a gang of them waiting or he had a knife” with out wanting to sound harsh… he’s been there before dont forget when he gave us all a nice scare 2 years ago!  I think the thing that made me chuckle most was the “He looked right dodgy mum, with his hoody on and that” when he dresses the same way

Refuse man collects £10,000 banknote jigsaw

Why do I never get this sort of luck  Lucky bugger

A rubbish collector in central England could have a very good Christmas if he can solve one of the biggest jigsaw puzzles going — 10,000 pounds-worth of torn up bank notes.

Graham Hill found the large bundle of cut up 10- and 20-pound notes while emptying bins in Lincoln last May, according to the Lincolnshire Echo newspaper.

He handed the package to police, but after six months no one had claimed the notes and investigators could find no evidence that it was stolen or linked to criminal activity.

The Bank of England said it would exchange the notes for new ones if Hill could piece the money back together again.

“Providing the bank notes meet the evidence requirements, then an application for reimbursement should be successful,” a central bank spokeswoman said. “In particular we look at the two serial numbers on the front of the notes.”

Colleagues of Hill’s are hoping he gets to work quickly.

“I just hope he pieces enough of the notes back together to get a round of drinks in at the works Christmas do,” a co-worker was quoted as saying. “Christmas is only around the corner, so any bonus will be welcome.”
