… Does not mean its your god given right to come flying up behind me on a dual carriage away, and try and get to to pull into the other lane, just so you can get 1 car closer to your destination! Specially when there is a convoy of lorries and trucks in the left hand lane, and a steady convoy of cars overtaking them! Happened on more than a few occasions yesterday on the way to and from Bristol! Not saying it was just BMW drivers but they were the worst of the bunch

Anyway I was not in the best of moods on Tuesday afternoon, when at 4pm Maddsy came upto me and had me look on the aa website at a route planner from here to a postcode in Bristol, then said “Al’s loading the car up for you” and gave me the job sheet! WTF! If you’re gonna do that atleast tell me first thing in the morning, as I can then have the afternoon off or something! Anyway got home that evening, and decided against going to the gym as I’d feel even worse getting up at 4am stiff as fuck!

Didnt feel too good all night, and having got to sleep at gone 1 on the Monday night, I was a bit annoyed when it was around 1am when I woke up after only an hour or so’s sleep feeling ill, and ended up throwing up, but then my stomach seemed to settle, and after a drink of milk, I fell asleep again, and was then really startled when the alarm went off at 4am :(   Quickly got dressed, and then headed down to the unit to swap my car for the works Corsa Van.  Bout 4:30 and I was on my way to junction 28 and then on my merry way down to Bristol.  Was very amused at one of the news stories I heard, not long after I set off on my journey, on Radio 1 that was on about this.  Basically Essex County police force had spent a total of around £40,000 in the space of 5 years, due to human error, when a Policeman is filling up the squad car with PETROL instead of DIESEL    Luckily it’s something I can say I have not done, altho I know one person has done it on more than one occasion.  Good old Tibbzy

Got down there bout 7:30, and found out the car-park I was meant to be setting up in, and waited for the on-site contact to arrive.  Once she got there around 8ish I started to put up the marquee, only to be told by some Nazi from the building, that Campus Security would never allow us to have the marquee put up in that place, as it’s reserved for Fire Engines *rollseyes* Anyway once we’d got the marquee up in the correct place, another of the nazi patrol came out and told me I’d have to move the corsa, or I’d be given a ticket, as most of the parking spaces were reserved, so I told her I was heading off into Bristol now anyway :p  Headed off expecting to be back on campus for around half 2, so I could get a few pics for the MM Hire blog and made my way down to the West End to park the Corsa.  I was shatered, but thought it was best to go for a nice walk to wake myself up, and then maybe find a starbucks later in the morning for a muffin and Coffee.  First stop was MacDonalds for some breakfast as my stomach was running on empty, and I’d been given £20 for some food through out the day, so thought it’d be rude not to    Ended up just walking in one direction, before turning round and walking in another direction, trying to remember which way was back to the car, should I get a phone call saying  I had to head back for some reason or another :D

Took a few photos whilst I was out and about oh the usual random crap, and then made myway to Starbucks for a massive Caramel Macchiato and also an Apple and Cinnamon Muffin hehe. As there seemed to be a few students fluttering about the place, I decided to buy one of the newspapers they had, whcih turned out to be The Times  I dont know what anyone thought of me sat back with an edition of The Times on the go HAHA Pics below as proof :p  Headed back to the car, as I wanted to drop a bag off, and my coat, as the rainy weather first thing, had stopped and it’d turned into a lovely day, and I then noticed a park quite close by, so headed over there to see what there was.  It was quite a nice day, and as I was heading to go and get some lunch, I got a phone call from Wendy, bout 12ish saying they’d finished for the day, and I could go and take down the marquee! Result! Didn’t have to wait around for another 3 hours.  Take-down was pretty quick, and I was soon tootling along back up the Motorways back home :D   Got back to work about 3, and decided against buggering off home early, as I still had a few bits to do from Tuesday afternoon, and decided to try and get Wednesday’s work out of the way also so I had less to worry about Thursday.  Set my alarm Thursday morning for 8:50 as I thought I could have a bit of a lie in, but found myself awake at around 8, so trundled off into work :(

Watch out for the Crocs!!!   A Catherdral :D

Part of the Uni Buildings…  My intellectual Mid morning coffee break.

Friday afternoon I spent messing about on the Xbox, inbetween giving the house a good old tidy and dossing about on the internet. And then I got ready for football.  Chilled out in the evening, and found myself heading to Macdonalds bout half 11    Got up earlyish Saturday morning with a few butterflies in the old stomach ahead of the big derby game, and met my mum at Tesco before we headed into town for some breakfast.  Our Hev caught up with us later in the morning, and I gave them both a lift home again, before I headed home to prep myself for the Tyne-Wear Derby at the Stadium of Plight.  Cracked open a can whilst I sat posting in the official match thread, and the TTBWA thread on a website I frequent, and got really excited, and then upon kick off turned the telly up to a completely unnacceptable level, and sat (I use the term sat loosely as I was more pacing around my front room  )  I knew it would be a tough game specially when you saw all the crap flying round the pitch due to the wind (Sunderland really wont be winning any Keep Britain Tidy awards on saturdays showing)  The Unwashed from the Village of the Damned took the lead in something like the 20th minute, and I sat with my head in my hands, and got myself another beer, for that to turn to Joy when Geremi finally put a set-piece onto one of our own players heads *rollseyes* and Ameobi headed it in.  We suddenly picked up a bit, but then the half-time break came, and we didnt seem to get out of the blocks in the second half, and Richardson smashed a free-kick past Shay in our Goal.  2 Sad Mackem Bastards then tried to get to Shay once the ball had gone in, and then upon the final whistle things turned ugly, with many SMB running on the pitch in over-zealous celebrations.  I was gutted, and yet amused when I saw what looked like seats being broken and thrown into another part of the ground :D   Turns out one of our lot got arrested in the ground, for running onto the pitch, and lamping a Mackem who also had run onto the pitch!

Took me the rest of the saturday afternoon/evening to down 2 cans, I was that distraught, and I just sat watching dvd after DVd, until this film came onto Sky Movies Premier, Called Michael Clayton, but I was that tired I only watched the first half, before giving in and heading upto bed :(   Really want to find out what happens in the 2nd half :)

Forgot to sort my clocks out Saturday night, so woke up an hour earlier than normal, and it wasn’t till I’d put the telly on that I realised this, so quickly changed the radio alarm, and went back to bed for an hour.  Woke up, and headed over to Tesco and filled up with £20 worth of petrol, and it was a great sight! I’d got more than 20 litres of Super Unleaded for £20!! It’s been a while since I’ve been able to say that :D :D Nipped to MacDonalds to get some breakfast and then made my way over to football.  We were playing bottom of the league, but after last season we knew not to take the game too lightly, and we ended up with a good 5-0 win (altho for some reason I thought it was 6  ) Could and maybe should have got myself on the score-sheet, after some good link up play between me and Willa, and I carried my run, chested down his cross, and pulled the trigger just as I was being closed down, to see it fly wide.  First half me and Willa found ourselves in loads of room.  Second half I didnt bomb forward as much, and it seemed most of our play came down the left in the 2nd half.

Match Report

This league game was arranged due to our none involvement in the Notts Minor Cup.

Only one change was made this week from last weeks defeat at Home to Innovate, Brad went in the net due to first choice Fish still nursing a broken finger and reserve keeper Rob away.

We started the game really well and kept Annesley pinned back in their own half for most the first game.

We scored our first goal as early as the 5th minute with Sami latching onto a Scotty throughball before placing the ball into the bottom corner. After the goal we kept creating chances but as usual were very wastful yet again in front of goal, however we are creating the chances which is not as worrying as if we was’nt creating them.

Winty headed home a Willa cross to make it 2 nil just before halftime.

Half-time 2-0.

We started the second half as we did the first, creating loads of chances and keeping Annesley pinned in their half. Scotty scored a brave goal with his head before Sami scored the goal of the game, he flew past 3 defenders before smashing the ball home. Scotty sealed the 3 points with another thunderbolt from outside the area.

Because this league match was arranged late, we did not get assigned a Ref, however both Bobby in the first half and their Secretary in the 2nd did great jobs at reffing the game and it was played in the right manner.

Today we eased past Bottom club Annesley Park without really getting out of second gear, we have to make sure we step it up for next week, however a job was needed to be done today and it was, so well done boys.

MOM – Scotty, chosen by Col, a great none stop performance and quite rightly rewarded with 2 very good goals.

Goal summary:

5 min – Sam Whyman (7/10)
Scott Hart supplied the through-ball, and Sam Whyman found the net from just inside the box with a well-finished right footed effort.

38 min – Chris Wint (8/10)
Chris Wint fired home from close range with a superb headed goal, following a cross from Paul Wilson.

53 min – Scott Hart (8/10)
A well delivered through-ball from Ian Moore was converted by Scott Hart. A first-class finish with the head from long range.

67 min – Sam Whyman (9/10)
Converted from just inside the box with a right footed finish, it was a spectacular individual goal which Sam Whyman wont forget! The move started with some clever play from Scott Hart.

78 min – Scott Hart (8/10)
Scott Hart fired home from long range with a tremendous right foot goal, following a through-ball from Chris Wint.

One of the goals was awesome, and a throw-in deep inside our own half, with a few one-twos between me and one or two others led to Winty playing a through ball to Scotty who smashed it into the top corner to make it 5! Deserved atleast a 9 that Brad!!  After football I decided to nip round and see the Grandparents, as it had been a while, and they had my Autistic Cousin Alex round.  Sometimes I’m unsure how to be around him, but he seemed to take to me well, and even sat cuddling me for a bit which brought a big smile to my face.  Didn’t stay too long tho, as I was in desperate need of a bath

Chilled out watching the Chelsea vs Liverpool game, which cheered me up a little with Chelsea finally losing their unbeaten home record which to be fair was pretty amazing, stretching 86 games    They do seem to be playing a more open game of football under Big Phil, so maybe they’ll lose one or two more games, then it was time to stick BBC2 on and watch the NFL live from Wembley.  They kept mentioning the London Monarchs and when they won the World Bowl many years ago, and it reminded me of being there that day :D We took a trip down to Wembley with one of my dads workmates if I remember correctly, and we drove down in the works Renault Espace, which seemed like it was gonna tip over everytime you entered a round-about    By 6pm I was struggling to keep my eyes open, and ended up in bed not long after the game had finished :(   Didnt have the best nights sleep, and found myself awake at 6:45am! My body clock has forgotten bout the hour we gained by turning the clocks back    Today at work was quite busy, baring in mind Maddsy wasn’t in as he was in Blackpool dancing for the weekend
