It’s sad because you guys over in GB were already paying 100 times the amount we were for petrol/gas even before this.
In fact EVERYTHING was 100% more expensive. And gathering from what my in-laws say, the pay isn’t much better.
We spent the equivalent of 150 USD on dinner at a place called Pizza Express last time I was in London. Here even in California where I live that would have maybe been 30 dollars. If that. And good lord the cost for lager and fags. Dang….so anyway, I feel bad for you guys.
Well I’ve always wanted to sample the american life! Who’s to say if I save enough I couldn’t get myself over for a few weeks or something. It is pretty dire over here at the moment with prices for everything
