So I’ve been meaning to update this on a more regular basis, but for some reason just can’t find the motivation to do it when I get home :?   Well what can I say other than I just feel so “MEH” at the moment.  I can’t even say that anything exciting has happened since I last updated this! Well tella lie, one or two things have gone off that I’ll write up in a moment :D

Anyway.  Found myself getting excited on the Thursday as it was almost the Ryder Cup.  Dont take much interest in Golf to be honest until it’s something like the US Open, US Masters, or the British Open, then I’ll only watch it if my dad has beaten me to the remote, and is sat watching it! In their house “He who holds remote.. Is King”

Anyway as per usual, me, John and Phil carefully tried to co-ordinate what colour shirts we wore to football on friday, as we can end up on the same team  How childish I know!! And we’d had gotten away with it too had it not been for that pesky teddy!! Anyway got home from work, and found I had a missed call and text from John, saying he was stuck in traffic, and was there any chance I could lend him a shirt, some shorts and some socks!! I mean this is someone who;s about a foot taller than me, and a fair bit wider! Luckily I had the black football kit from when we had our maxxd.com 5-a-side team going, so let him borrow that.  Ended up on the same team as John and Teddy, and within a minute or two of starting, John played an awesome ball, which I smashed on the volley into the top corner! Was about the only shot I had that evening, but one I wont forget in a while

Once I’d gotten home from football that was it for the night! I was set in my ways.  Telly on, Sky Sports showing, and a few brews on the go (Cant afford beer at the moment  ) and I sat watching the Ryder Cup from 8 till they’d finished the final round with The Americans winning 5 1/2 – 2 1/2 So Europe were pretty much left with a bit of a mountain to climb after that, in the Americans back yard too.

Got up saturday and headed over to the coffee shop for a drink with my mother and Sue, and then headed back home to watch some more of the Ryder Cup  How sad to I sound! Even worse when its the only thing I had on my telly till bout 1 on the sunday morning    Had a text of Bagi, even tho only a few days earlier I’d told him I wasn’t going out as I have NO MONEY, asking if I was out in town, as he was sat with Kirsty in the Top Spoons.

Was up nice and early sunday morning, and headed off to work to pick up the Corsa van, and head over to meet Maddsy at the Ladybrook Community Centre for a hire job.  Took bout 20 minutes to sort out, and then I was sent over to McDonalds to get his kids and wife some breakfast, along with some for myself :D   Bumped into two old School chums in the car park, in Alec Sheriston and Simon Overton, and had a bit of a chat with them, then noticed that Mark McDaly was working, and altho the till was saying position closed, the good lad that he is, he came and opened it, and sorted my breakfast out    Got to Maddsys and had a brew whilst looking at Stevies photos from her night out in chez Vegas dressed as lifeguards and then we headed over to footy.  I’d been asked pre-game that if I was asked hypothetically if I would want to join, If I would.  Anyway they won the game 2-0 and are now on a role with 2 clean sheets in 2 games, and 4 points from their opening few fixtures.  Few of the lads came upto me and asked if I was signing, so I just told them to watch this space.  Got to the pub after, and put pen to paper. Text John later in the afternoon to say the rivalry starts now, and he’s proper gutted that he’s away on the 5th October when R & K entertain The Cockle in the clash of the day in Division 6 of the Chad Mansfield Sunday League HAHAHA!

Nipped home and caught the first half of the Chelsea vs Man Utd game, and then had to nip back out and take down the hire job from Ladybrook.  Decided to head over to my mum and dads for a bit and watch the start of the “Single Sunday” or what ever they nickname the final days singles in the Ryder Cup    Once again my dad was the only one in, and for some reason he didnt realise I’d come round to see him, till he came downstairs to get a drink, and noticed me chilled out on the settee    I never thought my car was that quiet! He always just assumes that its our Stef walking in and out the house.  Not long later our Lewi came up and told me how he’s struggling to beat the computer on Pro Evo and that he’s had a blast on a few other games, and then my dear sister also came round!! Complete with Wedding brochures from Gretna  Took me back a few years that did :(   Got home and continued on my Newcastle game on Football Manager 08 whilst watching the singles, and realising that it just is not our year! I’d love to be able to go down on the last day to the next one, which is at Celtic Manor down in Wales! Lets see what happens :D

Hit the gym Monday after a decent day at work, and worked the chest, and had a good session stepping up the weights again, and John decided to jump from 2 45′s and a 35 to 3 45 plates, and seemed to manage it ok, so thats my next goal! 3 45lbs plates on each side :D Got home and chatted to a few folks on msn, before heading upto bed.  Was pretty much the same story Tuesday, only we worked on the shoulders, and halfway through the session the stepping up a weight or two was taking it’s toll, and really started to ache, but I battled through it.  Got shouted at by Kirsty for damaging my shoulders    didnt hit the gym last night, as John was at a gig, but I nipped round to see Kirsty, as she’d been stood up by her mates on Monday and Tuesday, so had a coffee round there and a bit of a chat, whilst Cody was running around being the mad little kid he is

Got home and rang my mum to remind her that there was some car crash football on, in the shape of Newcastle vs Spurs, and that I had a feeling the game would not be pretty! Jesus was I right with the first half.  Both teams were dire, and It took the introduction of Giovanni Dos Santos to ignite the Spuds team to life a little, and even tho we had a few half chances from Duff and Owen, Spuds went and scored 2 in a few minutes! The dirty Russian, who in my eyes deliberatly elbowed Coloccini in the face, thus busting his nose, after a tackle earlier in the game, scoring one of the easiest headers he’ll be gifted the chance of scoring! Then it went from bad to worse, leading me to throw my football shirt to the ground in a mixture of disgust at the stupidity of the defending, and also dispair at the plight of the team I love in the position it’s in :(   Watching that display and lack of passion, only weeks after an awesome performance against Man Utd at Old Trafford has seeminlgy thrown me into depression! That and chatting to one or two people online who I’ve met through various places  all saying they get lonely on their own, and that’s something that has gone through my mind once or twice! Throw that with the mis-firing Toon, I just felt really crappy all last night :(   No gym tonight, as I’ve just received a text saying John can’t make it, so think I’m just gonna chill out on FM 08 again, and relax in a nice long bath :)

Thats it for now
