Think this is gonna be one of the longest blog posts in the history of wiggys blog so here goes

It all kicked off nicely tuesday at work haha! Maddsy was out in the van having a Thelma & Louise session with “Smash Harry” and had left Zoe in charge of sorting out our visit to Eventure on Wednesday. Anyway a certain member of staff was listening to the conversation, when maybe he should have been trying to sell marquees, and picked up on the fact thet Steve @ Eventure was not happy with that, and asked her if the following Wednesday would be better, cos he wouldnt be in or something. Zoe NEVER agreed to doing it, but said she would speak with Craig and get back to him. Anyway no sooner had Zoe put the phone down, and gone downstairs, but this certain member of staff was straight out of his seat, asking “Who is she to sort out what day you’re going. I cant have you out the office next Wednesday, as I wont have had any design & quote facilities for a week. You really need to speak to Craig about it.” This then led to him mumbling to Mark I think and Wendy (who at times appears to be our resident Shrink I know in the past we’ve had many a chat about life and problems that have arisen, mainly in my life ) Anyway Mark intervened, and sorted it out for 2pm the next day

Found myself aching like fuck all day tuesday, from the first session back since I scolded my hand, but still went to the gym for the shoulders session haha! No pain, no gain after all people Was a good session, and once again it almost got to the point where I physically felt like I couldnt lift the weights, but managed once the weight was up, it became that little bit easier. Got home, and chilled out with a Protein shake with my tea, and chatted to one or two people on msn whilst watching more of One Tree Hill Season 4

Wednesday was really quiet in the morning, due to someone being on his holidays, and I’d mentioned to Mark about what had gone off the previous afternoon, and I that I was all but forced into taking my holidays the same days as Geoffrey, just so it’d make life a lot easier on everyone! Rumour has it when I aint there he is a ball-ache! Putting far to much pressure on Zoe to do things, and generally being a twat Me and Dory went to Eventure in the van, and I took a wrong turn, and ended up going on a little drive round Top Valley I kinda knew my way around there, from the times I used to pick Michelle up, or Cassie, or Lauren Managed to sort loads of stuff out with Steve, and they all seem proper laughs. We were both joking about how Maddsy has been ripping his hair out over this online shop and everything. then chatted to Neil about using company blogs, press releases and newsletters, and whats the difference between them, and why we should use all 3to get as much exposure for the company as possible. Neil called me the “technical one” as opposed to Dory being the “Thinking one” just because I’d been using Google Analytics before, and had my own blog for going on 2 years. Then got chatting to their Social Networking guy about blogs, and getting as much exposure as you can, and even trying to make money from them by using Affiliate programs and things. We got discussing how when new games come out, If you drop a bit about them in here, you notice a sudden rush of hits and things like that

Got back to work bout 4:20ish, and Maddsy was on the verge of his now daily mental breakdown/brain malfunction! I leave him on his own for a few hours, and he turns the office into some sort of pit Had a breif chat with Mark abot how much we’d learnt, compared to how much he’d wanted us to learn. He had wanted us to be able to create email templates from scratch, but Steve @ Eventure told him unless we were web designers it’d be a bad idea, and would be much easier to let them create us the templates, and we can edit and insert the things we want into them Result! Saved me fucking about in Dreamweaver for months trying to sort a template for an email campaign out. Wendy came up and wanted something sorting, but I was already over 5.30 so said I’d have to nip in on my day off to sort it out for her. Got home, got changed quickly, and headed over to the gym for a session on the back. Rarely do the back, so I always struggle, and god damn it hurts But it’s a good thing I suppose!! Picked up my Rise of the Footsoldiers DVD from Caz’s and made my way home to watch some more One Tree Hill and get myself some tea. Chilled out with a few beers and found myself in bed bout 1ish.

Got up bout 9ish, and made myself a drink, and it wasn’t long before Dory was on the phone, telling me Maddsy was having a hissy fit cos some artwork needed printin, even tho I said I would be in work for about 10 to sort something out for Wendy, so finished off what I was doing, and headed to work, slippers and all Ended up staying at work for about 2 hours, cos Maddsy kept finding things for me to do:? Oh well! As long as I get paid double time for coming in on my day off YET AGAIN!!! God this text off John, which spun me out originally, saying “I’ve got loads of letters for you” turns out they were from Bex Must have been when she took all her stuff, cos there were loads of old bank statements, and my wage slips. Oh and btw.. thanks for giving me my mail from AUGUST 2007!! Turns out Natwest sent me a card-reader to her address about 8 whole months ago, and she’s only just decided to pass it on!!!

Nipped over to McArthur Glen to see John and pick up my mail, and bought myself a quality new shirt, and a long sleeved top which came to next to nothing, and went on the Photo-Me machine in the food court. My stats have changed a bit, and my Fat Index seems to have gone up from 16.6% to 17.8%!! Time to get that fucker right back down I think! I’m also now 11 stone 7.1lbs Went from McArthur Glen over to my mums, so I could have a quick shower and wash my hair, before heading over to Gossips to have my mop cut haha! Claire managed to cheer me up, as I’d spent most of Thursday afternoon thinking how lonely I’ve felt lately I mean I’ve got some of the best mates in the world, who would do anything for me, and certain mates like John and Maddsy who must get fed up of me telling them stuff all the time! Was chatting to Dan and John for a bit, and Pete popped in with Will, so we ended up chatting bout what nights everyone is out this Bank Holiday weekend, then I buggered off for some Burger King Watched the end of Season 4 of One Tree Hill Thursday evening, so almost up-to-date with E4 Spent the night trying to cheer Emzi up, who was feeling a little down, whilst watching The Waterboy (Footy lads will understand the joke there )

Got up bout 9ish Friday, cos for some reason I just cant seem to have a lie in! I’m waking up at 8ish, and feeling wide awake And sat on the computer chilling, chatting to one or two folks and generally messing about. Rang Bagi to see what his plan was for the afternoon,cos he’d mentioned going into Mansfield with Mr Moore, and sorted out meeting them outside Next bout half 3ish. On way to meeting the gay pair, I bumped into Ste and Stacey complete with new cooking book Saw Moorey and Bagi walking round in Burtons, so headed in, and Mr No Fashion Sense bought another t-shirt, then had the gall to call me gay, cos I bought myself a waistcoat, which I made look good I’ll have him know. Moorey nipped me up to the Chesterfield Road Tesco, where I’d left my car, and then I headed home to chill out for a bit, before getting ready to meet the lads bout 7:45ish

Met the footy lads in the Swan, and out of the lads that play, the majority were there. Me, Moorey, Bobby, Winty, Malc, Greg, Bagi, Brad and a surprise special guest of honour…. Wayniac!!! Had a good chat with him, and we were all joking and things, and having a really great time of it. Unfortunately John’s mates had all let him down, so he cancelled on me, but I’m still glad I went down with the footy lads. From the Swan we headed over to Yates’s and had a drink or two in there, before heading into AndWhyNots. From there we headed into Cheekys had a shot orr two in there, and I bumped into Jade Sisson and her mate Sam. Not seen either of them for many years, and managed to get a few photos of them over the night, as we kept bumping into each other Went into Marthas, and bumped into Louise, who used to live opposite my mum and dads house, and chatted to her for a bit, before heading into Chicago (against my better wishes ) After a few hours in there, Maddsy and Scott came down after Laura’s party, and not long after me and Winty decided we needed to dance to some proper music, so headed off to Liquid Wasn’t long and everyone else had followed us. The comedy moments didnt stop when we left there!! me and Maddsy nipped to Subway for a Meatball Marinar, for which if I remember rightly I BOUGHT him, so I’ll be getting my money back for that sometime soon!! From there we headed over to Binchy’s Chippy to meet Brad and Winty who were tucking into their chips. I had my back to the counter, as I was tucking into my lovely foot long Meatball Marinara Subway, and Maddsy started to eat hers, and the woman behind the counter flipped! It was so Fucking funny! Maddsy was on one, giving her a quality rant, even tho all she did was ask him to wrap it back up, and eat it outside HAHAHAHA! We left, and Maddsy couldnt help but nip back in, and fire another mini rant. So thats now John and Maddsy who are not welcome in to Binchy’s ROFL.

Saturday was mainly spent chilling out watching footy on Sky Sports, and watching films, whilst eating junk food/chinese later that night Not alot to report about saturday to be honest, other than Newcastle beating Fulham 2-0, making me quite relieve! Ended up watching the game on Football First on Sky Sports, and I think we deserved the 3 points Found myself falling alseep during the afternoon, even tho Bagi kept bloody texting me telling me about his day so far

Nipped over to Maddsys Sunday morning before we headed to football, and Kieran kept giving me the high-five and Stevie was getting wound up with Dylan hehehe! Got to football, and I must admit I was surprised to find myself on the left wing! didnt think I played toobad, altho I found myself trying not to get caught too far forward, so Maddsy wasn’t left too exposed. Kept looking to go inside, to create some space for him on the left, and I think we worked well together Until I was switched to Right-Back, and then 5 minutes later one of 3 Centre Backs

Match Report

This really was a game of two halves.

We kept the same side that got a point the week before away at The Red apart from Wiggy coming in for the injured Malc on the left of midfield.

We started the game really well, short passing and everyone was getting involved. Local Inn were’nt really getting a look in and you would have thought that we were higher up the league table with the manner of how we were bossing the early stages.

Disaster struck around the 20th minute mark when a long throw was flicked on and then despatched home by Local Inn 0-1. However as we have done so many times this season, we did not let this affect us and soon were on level terms thanks to Wintys determination. We went 2-1 soon after with Sami hitting a freekick into the back of the net.

Just as the half-time whistle was approaching Local had a corner and scored a good headed goal.

Half-time 2-2.

This is were it all went terrible wrong, we were a shadow of our perfermance in the first half and soon found ourselves 2-3 down to yet, you guessed it, another set-piece goal. Local Inn dominated all of the second half and ran out 6-2 winners, one of our heaviest defeats of the season.

Five out of the six goals conceded today were from set-pieces, this simply aint good enough, i (Brad) will hold my hand up for one, their first goal i should of been tighter to my man. They did have alot of ‘big’ players but this is no excuse as most of their goals were free headers!!! we need to get in front of our men and make it difficult for them.

We now have 3 friendlies before our next league game, changes will be made so players need to impress when they get their chance in order to be selected for our next league match against Matthews and Tannent on 20th April.

Spent this afternoon chilling out and watching “Grand Slam Sunday” on Sky Sports, and the Mancs vs the bin-dippers was quite an interesting game! Just about to sit and watch the Chelski vs Arsenal game, then lay in a nice hot bath before finding out whats going off tonight with John and Company
