Work was boring Friday! Didnt apear all that much to do my end, altho Maddsy was frantically sorting things out in the afternoon once he’d gotten back from his morning at the Autosports show. God it was sooo quiet without his constant yapping all day long about “Getting the drinks in lads?” When he never does *rollseyes* Topped by the fact that Lee went to Burger King at dinner seemed to rile him even more! Once he got in, me and Lee managed to sneak a few drinks in before he cottoned onto the fact we were NOT GONNA BUY HIM ONE!

Friday night I got home, and had planned a night infront of the telly with a few DVD’s and a pizza. My darling sister decided to pop round to see me, and also check out my new coat  Why is it when any female seems to come round to my house, they rape my DVD collection? First it was Bex taking any DVD’s she seemed to want, Lizzie has borrowed a few in the past, my mother borrows them with regularity (or should I say my dad, but it dont fit in with the theme here) and now my sister too :? Oh and Lee and Nic sometimes borrow some too  I should start a rental scheme hahaha.

Watched Platoon for the first time and enjoyed it! I’d watched bits of it in the past, but never actually sat down and watched the whole film, and then watched Monty Pythons “The Meaning of Life” God I forgot how much I enjoyed this film! Specially when the song “Every Sperm is sacred” I immaturely text Lee and Maddsy with the lyrics to the start of the song, and then said women need to learn this! Spitting is thus frowned upon by God HAHAHA Was chatting to a few folks on msn too, and poking some people on facebook, before I became boring according to Lucy and went to bed just after 11

Woke up and got myself ready for the game, and was sat on the xbox, when Mike text me about 11 asking if it was too early for him to come over! He seemed quite excited bless him. So he came over, we watched a bit of showboating on Soccer AM, and then decided to head over to Manchester. We went in the old peoples chariot (Heather and Mike’s 1 litre Corsa) And it was quite comedy driving through the pennines! Even rabbits were overtaking us  I thought I may have to get out and push when we came across one or two hills, but it made it to Manchester safely enough. Parked up in the Cricket Ground again, and made our way down to the Trafford pub. Signs stuck up saying no away fans, but I managed to infiltrate them, by pretending to be one of their own  God I hated it HAHAHA! We found a KFC where we went to get a bite to eat, and not even Maddsy knew where it was! Baring in mind it’s a stone throw from Old Trafford haha!

Mike nearly got me in trouble, when we were in the Trafford pub first time, by asking if there were any pubs like this up in… and then he paused, thought about what he was gonna ask, then said “Dont matter” Lucky escape there. Had a look round the Megastore incase Mike wanted to buy a memento from his first visit to the Theatre of Dreams! Must be called that because you need to keep quiet in the Theatre, and there is no atmosphere, so you can fall asleep HAHAHA! Met up with one of Mikes work mates who has a season ticket or something, and went back into the Trafford, and it was proper rammed! Must have been a good few hundred people in there, and me and Mike quickly drank our drinks, and decided to go and have a walk down to the stadium and buy ourselves a programme, and I let Mike take a few pictures on my digital camera, cos he’d put new batteries in his, and they didnt work

Got into the ground, and Mike seemed to be in awe of his surroundings :D The ground soon started filling up, and the travelling Toon Army began to find their voice, and come kick off, were singing and dancing away like a bunch of nutters. The last game I went to the away fans were round the corner more, but this time the Toon fans took up more of an allocation than the Boro fans, and so we were sat about 9 seats away. The noise come kick-off was deafening, and Mike was shocked by the atmosphere created by the travelling Toon.

“We are the Geordies, The Geordie Boot Boys, And we are mental and we are mad, We are the loyalest football supporters, The world has ever had…”

1st Half we were more than equal apart from the openning 10 minutes, when Rooney looked like he was gonna score 5 or 6 on his own, but we weathered the early storm, and created one or two chances ourselves, including a “goal” from Michael Owen, which my dad says should have stood! Would have been a different result. Half time was ok, but once the 2nd half started it all went downhill FAST. Ronaldo did an air-kick and somehow won a free-kick, and slide it under the wall! The rest was a blur tbh! I have never hated being at a football game as much as I did the 2nd half :( Having to cheer 6 goals against the side I love and adore. Even at the end the Geordie faithful didnt stop singing, and I think that got on the back of the arrogant Man Utd fans! Specially when the “You only sing when you’re winning” and “We support our local team” Were sang 2nd half! It was great to see the reaction of the “LOCAL Mancs”

The drive home was painful, and Mike kept saying how he wanted to go again, now he’s been once, and he’s been bitten by the Old Trafford bug lol. Called into Macdonalds on the way home, near Sheffield, and then carried on home. Thanks to all the closet glory supporters who sent me texts and things! Dont be jealous that i’ve been to Old Trafford more times than you :p Went to bed once I got in, cos I felt shitty and decided against abusing people on the internet in the mood I was in hehehe!

Got to football sunday, and helped put the nets up as per usual, and once again was stuck at Centre-Back. Went 2-0 up, and then disaster struck! I became sole leader of the Penalty table  Tried to clear the ball, and it hit their player and bounced into the path of their oncoming striker, without thinking I lauched through the back of the youth, smashing the ball to safety, sliding best part of 6 yards in the process, and brought down their player! PENALTY! Our side went mad, and Bagi said it was my best tackle this season! Being the last man I’d expected if it WAS a penalty to have been booked atleast, but my unblemished record of NEVER having been booked is still in tact *BASARD* We ended up losing 5-4 and the heads were lost with the penalty decision  I thought I had a decent game, but according to the manager I didnt :? I ended up with a 5 rating, which has hammered my average rating for the season now, so I wasn;t too impressed, as I told Maddsy. Bagi, Bobby and Moorey all thought I had another great game, but I doubt I’d ever win Man of the Match *rollseyes*

Went round to my mums in the afternoon after football, and found out some stuff that aint really shocking news, but is if you get me! Not gonna go into it on here tho, as who knows who reads this  After that I went home, and got a call off Maddsy saying “I’m sat in my shorts on a balcony bla bla bla” so to cut him mid-sentence I told him that I was sat in my boxer shorts waiting to go in the bath  He was more than impressed, and quickly moved onto how we did at football hahaha! spent the rest of the night chatting to Lucy on msn, with a cameo from Fee and one or two other folks.  Fee wondered if I could remember the country of Origin of this lad called Saoul that she met when she went to watch a Plan B gig not that long ago, but I couldnt for the life of me remember. Not long after that I called it a night
