It’s a sad sad day…

So Tuesday night was spent chilling, and came to work feeling knackered as hell yesterday, but managed to get a hell of a lot done printing wise, so Crit has at least an outside chance of getting everything done on time

Other than that still busy as hell, which I dont mind too much, cos i’d be bored otherwise, altho i do find time to fit in the odd email to my mate eightspammingbarrels from maxxd :P

Last night got home, and saw they’d tried to deliver my new phone. so organised it so i’m going at 8 this morning to go pick it up, so then can have it on charge all day today :D YAY for me with the new phone

Left my house, and headed over to Maddsys to pick the soft lad up ready for footy, only to find that the whole family and his brothers family were coming too (not all in my car may I add hahaha) Got to football, and got into Maxxd football mode straightaway HAHA few wiggy headers in the warm-up and things!! Even one or two saves the cat would have been proud of. It was a sad night, as the Team OAP got beat by team whipper-snappers 2-1 with me getting the assist for teddys goal, with a wiggy header may I add, after a long punt by Maddsy. Really looking forward to next week, as we’ll be down on Manor, and using full-size goals! Really gonna amke a difference i think, when their goalkeeper stands about 5ft tall, and ours is the cat. Also loads more room to run with the ball, cos didnt enjoy it too much last night, cos as soon as you’d controlled the ball… you have about 3 kids chomping around your ankles!

Managed to injure Monica during the game, doing the typical Wiggy thing, and sliding in for tackles, which hardly anyone else on my team bar Teddy decided against doing :( Me and Mon went in for the same ball, and i beat her to it, and she kicked the bottom of my studs / I landed on her toe! Whoops :P

Went back to Doors for a bit, and sat on the game with Jessica annoying her by pressing the touch screen tv heheh, then went outside to talk to my mum on the phone, and saw Scott, Olly and Gem. Ended up sat outside talking to Scott for the best part of 45 minutes about this and that, and told him what car I was looking at, and he said he may get Dom on the case for me, and then see if i can part chop the 106 towards it! Must admit it was good to see Scott after god knows how long, and we did have a good natter about alsorts of shit, and we’re both looking forward to Bratislava! Which is only 56 days away now! :D

*edit* I now have 6 friends in my phone book on my new phone! YAY!! So anyone reading this who feels i would have had your number please text me, with your name, and i’ll add you back in :)

Overtime ahoy!

[audio:William%20Orbit%20-%20Adaggio.mp3]

So been a day or two since i had a proper blog/moan/random moment

So since i dropped my phone down the bog (yeah i know it was a stupid thing to do.. and wont be doing it again for a long time trust me) I phoned O2 to see when I was due an upgrade, as all i could remember was that Bex ended up with the D600 that time, but the lady said I wasnt allowed an upgrade till October at the earliest! Booooo…. BUT i was on the website and had a bit of a chat with the woman and explained what i’d done, and that I was looking at getting a Pay As You go phone, as they’re cheaper than actually buying the new phone, and thus enabling me to upgrade in a few months, and I managed to save £100 going down that route, and now have a brand new phone on the way, and a free pay as you go sim card, that you never know could come in handy! *cough* Bratislava when we’re all locked up in a cellar or sommat *cough* altho it’d be pointless without a phone! Damn i didnt think that through properly

Last night (Monday) I basically chilled and had a brief word with Jeff online, and he sent me a few songs via msn, and I chilled with a few beers, safe in the knowledge that i’d be up and at work ready for 7, baring in mind it’s getting that busy, and me and maddsy are practically running around like fools, trying to get loads of work done, when the sales team and Mark dont seem to realise that there are not enough hours in the day to get things done & printed and everything :S Specially as I aint got time to do the artowrk side of my job, because it’s got to stupid time, when everyone realises they need new marquee cloth or something ready for the major shows of the season, and they are too simple to thiknk about doing it at the start of the year or something! BUT even tho Geoffrey does sometimes say that delivery may not be possible… Mark always turns round and says “Get the order… Craig will fit it in” Wouldnt be so bad if the artwork was half decent, then i’d be able to take a break from the design side to get it done, but I just aint got time to redraw crap artwork, AND do the design side! Hence me going in at 7 in the morning, and staying as late as I can, to try and catch up!

Managed to get a hell of alot done in the extra 2 hours this morning, and most of the artwork is now ready on the mac to print, so it aint all that bad, just a case of going through and printing the files out!

All I will say is someone better appreciate the headaches me and Maddsy are getting

Tonight i’ve all but sorted going to the Gym with John for a few times, cos i wanna start getting fit again! Used to be really fit, then eating take-away and not playing football for a few years put paid to that, so think i’m gonna have a word with John, and go with him a few times!! He says he dont really do CV training, mainly weights, but i’m prepared to do that too (When ever I go i tend to go to gyms on my own, and dont have anyone to push me to go that extra bit! Hopefully John will do that :) ) Also It gives me something to do on sunday mornings, unless I go for a run round Maun Valley :)

Just chilling at the moment listening to some choons on the computer and chatting to Emzi who;s using msn on her xbox, and my mate Jeff whos sending me a few more good songs :D

*edit* Just changed channel just at the right time :D Boyz n the Hood is on  Whoop

Just What the doctor ordered

Newcastle have appointed former Bolton boss Sam Allardyce as their new manager on a three-year contract. The 52-year-old will be officially unveiled by the Magpies as the successor to Glenn Roeder at a press conference at 1300 BST.

Allardyce, who left Bolton after over seven years in charge, told the Newcastle Evening Chronicle: “This is the greatest challenge I have ever had.

“But it is one I am excited about and one I am looking forward to.”

Allardyce cited his desire to win silverware as the reason for his departure from Bolton.

He leaves behind Bolton, who claimed a Uefa Cup place after finishing seventh, to join a Newcastle side that finished 13 points behind them in 13th place in the Premiership.

The Magpies have not won a major domestic trophy since the 1955 FA Cup.

Allardyce added: “It is no secret that what has happened in the past is not good enough for a club as big as Newcastle United, and it is now my job to change all that.

“After leaving Bolton Wanderers last week, I was expecting a longer rest, but once chairman Freddy Shepherd opened that door, I was in.

“Whatever may or not be said about Freddy Shepherd, when I met him in London on Friday, I could feel his passion for Newcastle United.

“He is a passionate supporter and it is well-known throughout football that he has always supported his managers.

“Now it is up to everyone from Freddy down, to me, the players, the fans and even the tea lady to give these fans the success they deserve.”

Allardyce made a grand entrance to the north-east, flying by helicopter on Tuesday morning after attending the League Managers’ Association dinner in Nottingham on Monday.

He visited the training ground, where he met those players who have not yet started their summer break.

Allardyce arrived at St James’ Park and signed autographs for fans outside the ground ahead of the announcement.

Newcastle confirmed the appointment to the stock market.

Allardyce resigned as Bolton boss on 29 April and, after Glenn Roeder stepped down as Magpies manager on 6 May, became the favourite for the post at St James’ Park.

The former Blackpool and Notts County boss, who rejected the chance to manage Newcastle just under three years ago, was interviewed for the position of England coach last summer.

But he was beaten to the role by the then Middlesbrough manager Steve McClaren.

He had been linked to Manchester City, who have a managerial vacancy after Stuart Pearce was sacked on Monday, but has opted to try to turn around Newcastle’s fortunes.

Former Newcastle manager Ruud Gullit wished Allardyce well in his new job.

He told the BBC: “I hope he will succeed because Newcastle is like a big giant that wants to wake up.

“The fans are great, the people are great there and I hope they can do it.

“The difficulty for them is to get the right players there because most players who want to come to England want to play for Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United or Liverpool – the big clubs. So for them it is difficult to get the right players.

“Sometimes players go there who maybe didn’t want to but had no other choice.

“There are some outstanding players there but it hasn’t been a team for one reason or another so I hope he will make a team. Team spirit will be the most important thing.”

WOHOO!!! Lets hope he can bring some success!

Twat Alert…

[audio:yourepitiful.mp3]

Yup! Thats me! I have spent the majority of the day without a phone, as I thought it’d be funny to allow my phone to drop out of my pocket and into the bog! Whoops! Also I aint sure what I have as back up contact wise, so could those of you who read my blog, email me to wiggy@maxxd.com, with something in the subject line, along the lines of “you twat” and then give me your contact details again, I’d be most appreciative! As i kknow of a few people who read this, but dont comment ;)
Any stupid comment from you know who will get mysteriously deleted :P

Oh well! I wanted a new phone, but aint sure when i’ll be allowed to upgrade, so gonna have to use the D500, and see what offers i can try and blag from o2

Oh yeah also… thought the phone was dry…. so like a twat (becoming a bit of a theme today) I tried to put it on charge, only for my phone to have a spaz attack, vibrate like hell, and have all the lights flashing! Before i even plugged it in, may I add!!! :S How random

Final day Horror Show!

[audio:funny songs south park - cartman - fucking jew.mp3]

So at the start of the day I really hoped that Sheff United could stay in the premiership, and that West Ham would go down, due to the abuse their fans subjected to Glenn Roeder!! So rather than watch them against Man Utd, i decided to go for the Sheff United vs Wigan game! It was an amazing game that had everything! Penalties, red cards, loads of yellow cards! But most of all it finished with Sheff United going down! I’m gonna miss Neil Warnock next season, I find him really entertaining with his comments about referee’s and other players

Wounded that Newcastle couldnt beat an already relegated Watford, and for some reason we played the game without our top scorer Martins! Will have to try and find out what went off there!

Man Utd managed to lose the twats!! They were meant to send West Ham down :(

*edit* and i know one person who reads this… that will be very glad that Sheff United have gone down.. and he will no doubt leave a gloating comment :(

Oh my god…

[audio:mm.mp3]

The boredom killed me this morning! this will be the first pre-season in about 3 years that i’ve had nothing to do sunday mornings or anything, and this week being the first… I ended upo shopping at asda, buying a new duvet set and things  Oh dear someone shoot me with a tranquiliser dart, and wake me up when the season starts again HAHAHA

Whilst up at asda tho i bumped into my mum and dad, who got back at 4 this morning from their trip to south Italy :) And tried the old i’ll walk round with you, and throw my stuff in your basket trip, but it didnt work! My mum is far too wise HAHAHA!

Last night UI was chatting two two lasses who are great listeners! And i’d say quite good friends! I do enjoy having the odd “put the world to right” chat with Zaynah, when she takes time out from her Uni work, and we do seem to get on really well! The other friend has fallen out with me slightly due to me stabbing her in the back, and going to starbucks without her! But i’ve been to church this morning, and begged forgiveness, so hopefully she’ll find it in her catholic heart to forgive an old and naive wiggy

Also this morning I watched Next Friday with Ice Cube! Which was quite comedy hehehe

Tonight i shall be chilling with Domino’s pizza I think! :D
