Hmm small rant time!!

why would you train someone up to do your job, and then NOT have them do your job when you’re away?

Its a bit like someone winning The Apprentice, which is back on our tellies soon folks, and then NOT getting a job with Alan Sugar, which is the whole point of the show! OK maybe its not but you get my drift! This has come about cos Geoffrey was moaning this morning that he had 3 urgent designs and quotes that were orders as soon as the people get them this morning! They were all VERY easy things, so unless Adam was extremely busy, and couldn’t be disturbed, see no reason why he couldn’t help!

Ahh well! So far today… 1 good deed! Got up nice and early and took our Lew to his Chesterfield job, so he can finish it this morning, and finally get paid for the blooming job! Believe it when i see it Altho you cant beat a nice drive first thing in the morning! Only problem is my legs were aching from football yesterday, and sitting in a car didnt really help! By the time i got to work i felt like i’d lost the ability to walk
Yesterday afternoon i chilled and watched quite a few episodes of CSI Miami! I think i’m addicted to the CSI programs now! Then I put Channel 5 US on and low and behold… CSI was on there! So sat watching it

After a bit of a chat with Lee Westwood, the idea of a poker night at mine is starting to sound appealing! Maybe some beers, poker, and a take-away of choice or something! I’ll have to ask around and see what people say For some stupid reason B bought 3 tins of poker chips, that never got used, so may as well use them! Altho Lee informed me he played a lot of Poker at Uni, so i may not invite him HAHA

So I managed to remember that the clocks went forward an hour this morning! Or should i say i didnt HAHAHA!

Woke up and checked my phone and it said 10 to 9, so i decided to nip downstairs for a brew, and happened to notice that when i turned my computer screen on it said it was 10 to 10, and it I had an alert saying it had changed the clock automatically for me Wasnt that nice of my new toy hehehe!

Luckily we were on Manor, so it was just round the corner from my house, so i had plenty of time to get ready and bugger off up there

What a miss-match it was too! We ended up drawing 0-0 but had loads of chances that we missed! But luckily Skegby only drew last week, so we only need to win 3 more games from 7 to win the league

Maddsy phoned me shortly after dinner, and didnt believe that we drew 0-0! It does happen! Altho like Howzey said.. how the fuck can you have a 0-0 in division 27 on sunday mornings this being after he bought 3 bottles of £40 champagne in liquid last night HAHAHA! He played well, so maybe he should do that every week! As expensive as it would be

So finished work early on thursday in anticipation that the worst thing that could happen was that i’d get stuck in traffic on the industrial estate, and they’d try and deliver my computer at bang on 5pm! That being my luck at the moment lol!

Got home and my new xbox game had been delivered, and i aint been off it much lol! Almost unlocked every achievement already

Had a txt off my mum Thursday evenimng asking if it was ok if they popped round to pick up my bros blazer i borrowed at christmas, but never ended up wearing, so said yeah i’ll be in all night, as i was waiting for my newest toy ! In then end just my dad came round whilst he let my mum loose on ASDA! not the wisest move ever, but kept my dad out of mischief i suppose lol, so me and my dad were sat chatting about this and that, and then he headed over to ASDA to pick my mother up!

My computer came bout 8ish, and i managed to put my xbox controller down to set it all up, and replace my old computer, which for the moment has made its new home under the stairs hehehe It wasnt till i turned it on i realised i’d got Windows Vista, and as good as it is, it annoys the hell out of me at times! When i want to run a program, and it gives me some windows security message crap! If i didnt want to open it i wouldnt have clicked the blooming thing haha, and another thing i’ve noticed is when i have Azereus open downloading something, i cant connect to the internet! Says connection timed out! Any techie’s out there who know how to resolve this, leave me a comment! *cough DJB?? *cough* Other than them minors things, very happy with it

Friday found myself awake at 8 for some reason, even tho i didnt have work or anything, and found myself browsing the web and on the xbox for a bit, and our Lew phoned me and said he was waiting for this bloke to ring him back, would i be able to pick him up from Chesterfield later that afternoon or something, depending on wether the bloke gets back in touch with him regarding sorting out some more paint that my bro needed to finish the job, so ended up going to pick him up, and taking him home! But whilst we were on the way home, my bro tried to get hold of this bloke numerous times, and as if by magic, as soon as we got to my bros house, he phoned him back! Who’d have thought it! At night i sat watching Crank and a few other films, and chatting a bit to Emzi before heading to bed early again! Cant seem to stop being tired at the moment!

this morning got up and went over to my the coffee shop to meet my mother, and then watched the England U21′s, a game which mny cousin Malc had some how managed to blag tickets through someone, and was sat in an executive box, with padded seats, champagne brunch, free bar and that lot Damn you Malc! Could have let me know! Was quite a good game and the new wembley looks amazing. Watched the Scotland game after that, and our Malc phoned our Lew, and said he’d lost Jez, and that one minute he was in front of him the next he was gone! I cant imagine how drunk they were, after 6 glasses of champagne and numerous pints of wembleys finest hahaha.

Went round to Maddsys to watch the england game, and Jessica and Dylan did me some pictures, which i’ll try and out up here soon, also got a pic of Kieran, who’d decided to try his hand at face painting He looks so great with Pink felt-tip streaks across his face! Very ermmm gangsta young friend!

What a shit game it was! How england expect to qualify and win tournaments with a team like that is beyond me! Carragher left-back? Phil Neville Right-Back? If anything i’d switch them round! Neville would have been better at left back etc! We need a Head Coach / Manager who is not afraid to drop Lampard! not being funny, but he never seems to have done it for England! I’d much rather have Gerrard in the Middle with Lennon on the right and Milner or Gareth Barry on the left!

Well we are all in shock at work today! Maddsy has had his bike for a good 4/5 months, and he finally went out on it on his own yesterday! And for this we’re all in shock

He’s now got this funny little John Wayne walk going on which is quite amusing in its self!

Other news.. Geoffrey is still talking about this program he recorded in which people were whacking off animals! Now he;s up to the part where they whacked off a great massive Whale or sommat Hope maddsy is paying attention, cos we’ll prob have a quiz about it tomorrow afternoon HAHAHA

I was messing around with the franking machine at work, and Wendy told me i’d broken it, and it was making this awful noise, but the mystical “turn it off, then back on again” method worked!

Hmmm so i’m sat here pondering… what can go wrong with my computer now! Will i get stuck in traffic about 10 to 5, and not get home till 5 past and find out they’ve been to try and deliver it? Or will i get it, and find out it wont even bloody turn on

Other than that not much to tell tbh! Lee came round for 20 minutes before heading off to 5-a-side, for a quick blast on Ghost Recon lol, and i managed to set up my new toy, and all seems to be working ok

Altho i’m currently talking to DJB, who is telling me to check my emails shortly, so will no doubt have an update shortly Must admit it’s been a while since he updated me with his stupid antics over there in Paphos HAHA

Well i finally got a call back from Dell, and much to Maddsys entertainment, the woman could hardly speak english! She’d decided that rather than deliver it tomorrow evening to my house, they were gonna do an evening delivery to my WORK ADDRESS! WTF!! Bloody idiots! So i THINK i’ve managed to sort it, so they will be delivering to my house between 5 and 9 tomorrow evening!

How much bloody work to get my computer delivered

So yesterday was so much fun!! More fun than you can have in a Gym watching MTV thats for sure! Where else do you get the banter and motivation to get weights done in the quickest amount of time! John may go to the Gym daily, but i’d prefer to do this every week or so Specially when we all get to abuse Lee, and watch Maddsy’s knees buckle under the extreme weight HAHAHA! For once i aint aching all over after doing it either! normally the day after my arms and shoulders ache like fuck, but i feel full of beans this morning!

Other than the aluminium yesterday, had quite a lot of work to do, which had piled up during the course of the morning, and still managed to get a lot of artwork done for Crit to carry on printing this week, even tho i am behind with it a bit *best hope maddsy dont read that bit*

How bloody difficult is it to get something re-directed! Business-Post have tried to deliver my computer on 3 occasions now, and even tho i have told them not to try, they have tried again! I managed to get through to Dell, and someone who could hardly speak blooming English, and told them i wanted to change the delivery address to my work address, and in the end she said she can try and get an evening delivery, and should confirm today that it’ll be delivered Thursday night! Nothing like hard work!!!

Other than them fun and games, it was pretty much a normal day! Altho Karl said he was looking at getting a Nintendo Wii, but we managed to talk him round to getting an XBOX 360, which is now another story in its self

Got home, and watched Episode 20 of Prison Break! OMG! I dare not think whats gonna happen next! I’m sure this is gonna be the last season, or at least part of me is hoping that it is! At the end of the episode i saw a preview for the next 2, and they look out of this world, and i can not wait to watch them

After that decided to finally watch “Sex lives of the Potato Men” OMG! Another really random film recommended by Maddsy, Karl and Lee! It was very bizarre to say the least! Hmmm Strawberry Jam and Fish Paste sandwiches anyone?

Tonight i should have another new toy to play with so with a bit of luck should be setting that up, and clearing a bit of space for my new computer, whilst partaking in another few rounds of Ghost Recon online

*edit* my back is now killing me! As a result of yesterday’s exercise, and also turning suddenly earlier

*NEWS FLASH*  Geoffrey thought he would share with us in the office, the fact that he recorder a program which had certain animals being tossed-off for artificial insemination purposes to save endangered species   Why he needed to tell us is beyond us all, and we are now mentally scared for life! * END OF NEWS FLASH*

Well that was fun! 10.35 Tonnes of Aluminium shifted off a lorry in about 2 hours, and no serious injury obtained! Apart from Maddsy claiming to have broken his finger! Lee got really pissed off cos we all abused him, even the lorry driver joined in!

Now this afternoon will be spent moving all the stuff inside, and sorting it all out! Think i’ll leave that to Karl and Al hehehe
