Where to start! Had a fantastic weekend tbh. Friday at work Crit gave me a target of gamer point to get on the xbox 360… i was on 1250 or something and he said if i didnt get 2000 by sunday evening when he came online i’d no longer have his respec! (yeah i know i’ve missed the t off… but its a long story only me and crit understand) So i managed to complete Ghost Recon on easy level, and then for the next few hours, i cained my Madden 07 NFL game! Luckily i had some idea what i was doing!

Woke up saturday morning and decided to go to asda for some milk, and ended up buying Call of Duty 3! So went on that for a bit, and then headed over to my mums to see Owen. As i pulled onto the street my mum was walking up with own, so i parked up and ran down to see him laughing as i got towards him! He was busy telling me that the birds are in the sky and mikeys car is over there bless him! I really do love my nephew! I think he’s amazing

Turns out i think my bro has decided to set up his own painting and decorating job! He asked me if i could take a flyer to work, but then forgot to give me one the plank! So if anyone wants any painting doing cheap and lives locally let me know Our heather was round also, and me and lewi managed to get her to put the kettle on, on no fewer than 3 times Sat reading this book called Hooligans 2! M-Z of football teams hooligans. Managed to keep me quiet for about 3/4 hour as i read all about Mansfield Town, Newcastle and Forests hooligans firms! And found out that the in the 70′s and 80′s two firms from mansfield were called The Carrot Crew and the Cucumbers and most notably now the one most people from mansfield have heard of… “Mansfield Shady Express” N ow the hooliganism aint something i would enjoy doing! I am not a fighter, but i do love watching Green Street and Football Factory, and its always been something thats interested me! How sometimes firms ring each other up as mates, fight, get up shake themselves down and shake hands afterwards, Pffft

Sat night i had Lee Westwood round again! I do enjoy the company! We had a good few beers, chinese, and loads of games on the xbox, whilst putting the world to rights Managed to complete act 1 on hardcore on gears of war, and managed to kill many enemies on Ghost Recon! We’re a proper shoot-em-up team When we having the next one then Lee?

Sunday was cup quarter-final day! I wont go into it in too much detail, i’ll just post Stoneys completely un-biased match report

7/10 Young but able!!

For the neutral it was a very entertaining “end to end” game!!

Started off slow as both teams were weighing each other up, but it wasn’t long before Stu Macca burst through and slotted in his first of the game on 32 mins.

But Skegby quickly answered with a low corner that managed to find itself in the 6 yard area un dealt with, only for Shaun Taylor to miss kick the clearance into his own net!

HT 1-1

Then second half we started quickly, with Stu Macca again exposing the Skegby Defensive line and hitting an unstopable finish.

But then we seemed to take our foot off the gas and allowed Skegby a bit of time on the ball!

Then came the start of an unbelievable few minutes!!
On 60 mins Skegby’s D Hutchinson found a bit of time on the ball and hit a deep, long ball towards goal, from approx 45 yards out that to Suttons disbelief found the top corner? 2-2

Then almost instantly Skegby found themselves (for the first time in the game) in front after R Weaver burst trough the defence in a one on one with C Brandham only to see his tame shot saved, but as C Brandham got back on his feet Craig inadvertantly palmed the ball into his own goal when there was no real danger with 2 Sutton defenders waiting to clear! 3-2

As the game was starting to look like our first defeat of the season, and with only 7 mins left on the referees watch, Scott Macca found the net with a typical poachers goal. 3-3

That seemed to knock the swaggering Skegby in confidence, as they allowed far too much time to R waring, after receiving a goal kick from S Coleman, flicked it on to Stu Macca who powered his way through two defenders then smashing into the net!! 3-4

Then after some confusion in the Skegby back line, then a rash tackle on Stu Macca, J Coupe had no problems finding the net with the resulting penalty!! 3-5

All in all this was an entertaining game, end to end, and was thrilling for the neutral, but for all the banter and match goading from the Skegby faithful, they still found themselves without a cup to go for!!

brilliant performances from several players, and we showed the character to keep going when it seemed all but lost!!

Semi finals next, COME ON!!

Got rated 8 which i’m happy with! Felt it was one of my better performances in a Sutton shirt I really am enjoying my football on sundays, and feel there is a great banter between the lads! The only problem is we do tend to argue when things aint going right! But as Jays dad said at half time… “They were going out as mates. They didnt get on each others backs. No-one MEANS to lose the ball! It happens even to the best to them, and that we should just go out there, play as mates, support each other as mates, and FUCKING GO THROUGH THE BASTARDS!!” Maybe not quite like that, but hey! You get the point

Watched Celtic win 2-1 this afternoon despite being a goal down, real gritty performance, much like ours today! That side like ours really dont know how to give in! They keep going to the final whistle, and maybe thats why they’re 17 points clear at the top of the SPL! Then i watched Newcastle beat Spurs, in another amazing game! To be honest Spurs battered us all game, but a truly incredible strike from Martins, and a good finish from Huntingdon and Nicky Butt of all people made me a very happy man! not only did Newcastle and Celtic win, but so did Morton and Mansfield

Got back and had a nice chat with Emzi on msn again! Bout this and that like normal! Nice random conversations

Tonight i’m just gonna chill with a few beers, and watch Terminator 3 i think! nothing too strenuous!

I’ve made 1 or 2 decisions today, involving 1 or 2 things but i aint gonna go into it on here
